Pretty frustrated with our order after getting blindsided by the delivery costs which I found out about after they had everything inside our house. Got charged extra for that even though we brought it up in the store and they somehow forgot to mention the cost of the delivery. The rep made it sound like we should have just known and swore they never have this happen (as though everyone who buys furniture just knows that they ship it collect and don't bother to tell you the cost up front).
A quick glance at their other Google reviews shows that we're not the only people this has happened to. On top of that the company doing the delivery just drops the furniture off in boxes and you have to assemble it yourself. Not sure why we even bothered paying for delivery at that point.
I tried to give them multiple opportunities to make it right and just got a 'sorry' every time.
Edit: No, they did not write or tell us anything about delivery costs when we placed the order. Our receipt shows no such thing. The 'ticket' that the delivery guy showed up with had this cost hand-written on there, but it was not on our receipt and it was definitely not mentioned when we placed the order. I'm sure there are many more than 6 people over 6 years who have had this issue, but most of them simply don't take the time to write a review. I'm also pretty sure it was more than $125 (again, I don't know off-hand because I have no record or receipt of it and the delivery guys needed cash). Many other furniture stores offer free delivery included and these guys just threw it out there that they 'have a delivery service' and let you assume it's included. I should have pumped the brakes and told them to just take it back, but I tried to play ball, hoping they'd make it right in the end. Still no refund.
The fact that there's a trend on here of reviewers having issues with delivery should tell you something. They even have a negative review from a guy from a delivery crew. I purchased a bed frame and mattress from here and paid to have it delivered. They delivered it the next day. We weren’t aware that they didn’t put it together but that’s the least of the issues. My husband set it up while I was out and didn’t realize it was not the correct bed frame. I go back the next day to let them know we didn’t get the correct bed frame. They said they would deliver the right one free of charge. Assuming they would make this a priority, I still had not received a call days later. So I went back again to get an update. I still don’t have a date of when I will be receiving it. While I was there I also wanted to discuss the mattress we received, because the one at the store that I choose was not near as firm as the one we received. The one we received is so firm that I am waking up with back pain every single day. It is absolutely awful and I am tossing and turning all night unable to sleep. Because we got the wrong bed frame the sales associate thought that we may have gotten the wrong mattress as well. She gave me her number to communicate it further when I got home to see if it was the wrong one. Before I left the store I sat on the mattress again to make sure and it was so much softer than the one we received. I go home and send her a picture of the bed and she says it is the correct one. And although she was kind, there is no initiative to rectify the issue. It’s basically a ‘tough shit’ situation. I am at a loss, we spent a good amount of money to get this set and I can’t even sleep in it. They do not accept returns on mattresses but they do not tell you this prior to purchasing one. Read moreI have been driving by this place since it opened and just happened to stop by this week. They have a great variety of colors and furniture. Bianca and her other male coworker (sorry I cant remember his name) were absolutely amazing. She was super excited and so kind and the guy really amazed me with his honesty. A sofa I was interested in buying one of the headrest didnt work (a kid had broke it or they had swapped motors, i cant really remember the details) he was honest about it and said the warranty on the couches are so great that it would be fixed with no hassle. Me and my husband decided to buy it on a thursday afternoon and called friday morning to have them hold it by that afternoon the motor had been delivered to the store and it was in the process of being fixed mind blown. (side note) Me and my husband don't really put value on material things so we are always dressed down and we drive around in low mile 1990s vehicles. we usually get judged very harshly by this and treated like absolute trash when in actuality we can buy whatever we want. Bianca was so sweet and showed me a variety of priced furniture. Her sincerity and kindness toward me let me know there are still gems in this world that see a person for who they are and not by what they portray on the outside.
