GameStop — Local services in Jacksonville

This is by far the friendliest GameStop I’ve been to. I seriously appreciate the calm happy environment and attitude of all of the workers I encountered I believe her name was jade she was extremely helpful and also very informative while I wasn’t really in the market for the pro member ship she informed me of all the benefits that I would receive and that they do trade ins and such (which I will definitely consider in the near future ) but she was able to convince me.I was also approached by a guy I think his name was Rasheem while I was looking at games and he told me of all the games they had for preorder and how I could put as little as 5$ down which was amazing cause I was able to preorder a game for my girlfriend to put a start to my Christmas shopping. I also appreciate how clean the store was it’s nice to go somewhere you can tell it’s actually been cleaned. This is the only Game Stop worth while stopping by. I went for my first time and was greeted by Jayde. She immediately let me know the promotions going on so I was able to shop the sales. The store layout was super simple and easy to navigate, much better unlike the mall location. I was looking to purchase Donkey Kong and Rasheen was informing me about the new Mario, and told me I could make a downpayment to reserve a copy for only $5! Definitely hopped on that as soon as he informed me. I went to check out with Jayde and she told me I was able to bring in my previously purchased items for a trade. I was about to decline the warranties, however Jayde’s professional attitude towards protecting my purchases, assured me that it was worth the low cost and I ended up getting the warranty on the items I purchased. Way to go to this Game Stop location! I look forward to returning...

Sadly, although this store is one of the larger GameStop locations in this region, I kind of see GameStop going the way of the extinct retailer. They have a good bit of merchandise in this store, but the prices can be a bit on the high side. Not to mention, they really don't have a lot of items that you can't find at other larger retailers with more selection. On my visit which was actually to drop off a package for a relative, the store was reasonably clean, and the one employee in the store was nice enough. It's an okay store.
