ALDI — Local services in Jacksonville

When I lived in Pennsylvania I shopped at aldi's specifically for their produce. A lot of products are off brand and I know that some people won't use them, but the a are many brand names as well. The only difference is the price! I needed to stock up on snacks and was surprised to see that they carried all the items he eats. Breakfast bars...protein bars..etc...I usually pay between $4 - $5 per box. Aldi's price? $1.38 let just say that the big box store won't be seeing me for a long time! My trunk was full and I only spent $93. Usually my bill is between $250 - $300. And it actually felt good not to have to fight the urge to "look around" while I was there. Excellent staff, very courteous, always nicely organized. They have such a unique array of items and lots of gluten free options. Love their prices and they have amazing deals on household items even plants and flowers with each season. Amazing wine selection that is super affordable! Only place I can find zero carb bread! They have great, affordable gifts too. Every time I go which is about every week they have new items and their candles are amazing and last forever! Also a great selection of cleaning supplies branded differently but just as strong and useful as name brand cleaning supplies. I love shopping here and I highly recommend it. Very good store overall HOWEVER we have two in the same town and the prices are NOT the same for the exact same items. The prices can be as much as $1.20 difference on certain items. Today I found out that an Aloe drink I bought at the Store #54 (Richlands Hwy, Jacksonville, NC) yesterday was .89 cents and at the Store on Western Blvd. 5 miles across town it is .59 cents. I bought 60 bottles of this particular Aloe which was a price difference of $18.00. I am going to contact store 54 tomorrow morning when they open to see if they will refund tree difference as we have been singing the praises of the Aldi chain since they opened in the Jacksonville area...
