It's a lovely and cozy store in a convenient location. I could feel the owner's passion and dedication to his business.
I arrived on a Friday afternoon to find the store closed earlier than the posted hour, so I walked to Magic Waffle to the right side and got the honey I wanted, not because I paid extra attention to other signs on the door, which I most likely would not, but because I had read the reviews and answers online before the trip. A typical customer would have turned around and left when he saw the "we are closed" note on the A4 paper attached to the door. He most likely would not have tried to read other signs on the door to figure out what to do next. So, for the benefit of both customers and store owner, I would suggest that a little extra information be added on the same paper with the "we are closed" note, which would read like this: "We are closed. But you can get our honey just two doors down at Magic Waffle if we are closed." I understand that the store owner has already been considerate enough to put the information on a separate sign on the door, but it would be better to add that info on the same sheet of the "we are closed" note. That way the customers would not have to seek extra information, as most of them would not, which is unfortunately the typical customer or human nature. Just a little suggestion. I know I would return again when the store is open...
Read moreBit of a long post but worth the read. I have been struggling with a cough for about 3 months. I just recovered from an 8 month cough last October and got sick again moving to Florida in December and got stuck with a cough again. I literally tried everything to over the counter drugs, allergy prescribed meds, hot tea, immune tablets humidifier literally everything. My chest was so inflamed my mucus had blood in it. Until one day I came in and I really wish I got the guys name who helped me, but I bought some local honey from here and the very nice, professional and very informal man told me to take the honey straight. I take two tablespoons a day straight then drink this nasty bronchial syrup from sprouts and Iâve noticed a BIG CHANGE IN TWO DAYS!! I bought the honey Sunday and took it the same day, And by Tuesday Iâm barely coughing through the day and I donât see blood in the mucus I do cough up!! On top of the honey being so delicious it really helped my cough because the bronchial syrup alone was not much of anything!! DEFINITELY WILL BE...

The FL honey is OUTSTANDING! đ€Żđ€€ The "Wildflower" variety is the *most local and also extremely delicious! Anyways! I know that the hours and such can be confusing but, it IS a "one man show" 98% of the time and the "one man"/owner, Ryan , is so kind and helpful! Please be patient if you come and it's not open. I myself had to come back a second time and it was so worth it! You can also, at least , buy "Hoby's Honey" at the "Magic Waffle" next door, during their business hours. Please come support this business! They're a local "mom and pop" shop selling all kinds of local goods!
PS - There was an awesome 3/$20 sale on the jarred jams and veggies. I'm not sure if this is an "all the time" sale but, it was/is extremely appreciated. I got two kinds of jams and a jar of baby beets for $20. On top of that, all of the jars are large so, I really felt like I got a great...
