I ordered a vegan Philly cheesesteak and it is usually really good. This day they charged me for extra toppings that they didn’t put on the sandwich. I called and initially was told that it would be remade. I received a call shortly after from the manager telling me that should would not remake it! That I can bring the sandwiches back to them and then get them remade. I asked why would you further inconvenience me for something I had no control over! She then said ok I’ll remake it. I finally go back today and she wasn’t listening at all! She said she would remake the order so I assumed I would get everything that originally came with my order for my inconvenience. She stated that the items were not chain my order and I told her that they indeed were charged and it was on my receipt. Then she said that the system was messing up and some ingredients don’t come back to the kitchen. Which one is it? I tried to purchase the drink and soda but she kept rambling about how she couldn’t give me the drink and fries for free. I explained that I merely asked how much it would be for a drink and fries! After that long rambling of how she couldn’t give it to me for my inconvenience she then said the drink is $2 and the fries are $3. She said this would be a total of $10! How? Read moreI had a very disturbing experience at Eddis & Sons today. I was waiting for my order and an older gentleman was also waiting. He asked the owner's wife a question about what was being put on his sub. She was explaining to the customer and out of nowhere the owner (her husband) completely flew off the handle and starts berating the customer. He was screaming "I'm from Kensington, I've been cooking for 15 years and never has anyone questioned the way I do things" and on and on and on. The customer kept calm and was trying to explain what he was initially asking the owner's wife and the owner just was so rude, aggressive, and flat out mean. He was cussing the man out and when the customer asked him to watch his language the owner yelled "this is my wife, those are my kids in the back. This is how it is." He was an absolute hothead and I felt so badly for the customer. It was all so uncalled for. When my order was ready, there was no apology for what had transpired. When I left I saw the customer sitting at a table outside eating and I made a point to ask him if he was ok and let him know that the behavior he was subjected to was so wrong. While they may have the best cheesesteaks in Jax, the behavior I saw today is something I just cannot support...
Read moreI worked here for a month and they did not pay me my tips or to mention they were paying me 11hr working me from open to close every day and treating me like I didn’t know anything the whole time anytime there was a mess up Chris and Jen automatically blamed it on me, Chris was a super hot headed boss that would make the wrong sandwich and then say it was my fault even thou literally every thing else was my job Cleaning ,cooking fry’s, cutting onions, taking orders, taking phone calls taking Uber and door dash orders, bagging orders and any and all miscellaneous stuff, all Chris and Jen do is cook sandwiches.They also work their kids all day They have 4 little boys and the oldest is like 13 so the rest are younger. Also if you’re VEGAN and eating there you’re NOT VEGAN anymore! During my time there when it was to busy they would cook chicken on the vegan stove because vegan meat and chicken take longer to cook than the beef and every time I witnessed that they don’t clean it until the end of the day.They also have no rules when it comes to cross contamination because they don’t switch gloves often enough not to mention they’re comfortable touching the trash can and...
