Los Andes Restaurant- Atlantic Blvd — Restaurant in Jacksonville

So it’s been sometime since I have been to an event and I am so happy I was chosen to experience the Los Andes Experience.

An elegant blend of Peruvian and Argentinian Cuisine that was both delightful in taste and smell and eye catching in presentation.

I was greeted with a smile and hello when I enters the establishment. Nicely decorated and kept Immaculate in cleanliness.

The woman behind the counter was bright and bubbly and welcomed me into her establishment.

I was able to try the half chicken , rice and beans. Delicio!!!! The chicken was moist and the skin was flavorful. The white rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The black beans where seasoned and a great addition to the plate as I mixed the beans and rice together. I also ordered a side of Tostones with the dipping sauce that was the icing on the cake for the meal.

But wait there’s more. I was floored by the dessert. Oh lord have mercy, the tres Leche was by far the best I have ever experienced. Hands down, the Best!! I wish I would of ordered two of them.

The vibe I this establishment is amazing. The music is enlightening. The food is definitely something to keep coming back for. 2 thumbs up. I will definitely be return this week...

My husband and I tried this place for the first time this weekend. While the food was great, the service was awful. We arrived and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. We placed our order for to-go, paid and sat down to wait. One by one we watched numerous parties come into the restaurant some to be seated some walked up to the counter. We watched as every one of these parties received their orders in a timely manner. After about 45 minutes of waiting, a women(who clearly was the manager) pointed at us and asked what we were waiting on. So my husband had to go to the counter and the server argued with him saying she didn’t take his order 🙄. She then has to look the order up in the register by his card number which clearly was never submitted to the kitchen all the while she has a major attitude about it as if we were being unreasonable after waiting 45 minutes for food. Conveniently, our order was rushed to be made and ready 10 minutes later. If you make a mistake just cop to it and move on, don’t get an attitude with customers....

Very rude service. My family had started coming to this place recently because their food is good (most times, but not always), however NEVER again because of the rudeness of an employee. The guy working the register and answering the phone (acts like he doesn’t even want to be there, likely a family member or friend of the owners due to how he can just socialize in the kitchen and not pay attention when customers arrive) always has an attitude but our last visit was the last straw. We ordered through the phone and before we can finish ordering he hangs up the phone. When we get our food he messed up our order and then has the rudest attitude saying we were lying and it’s not possible them making a mistake. Speaking with other customers (because they over heard him trying to defend himself and putting the blame on others) I see that he always has that attitude and unfortunately it makes coming back to this place for the food not worth the headache.
