The owner of the restaurant said he thinks I should leave the restaurant because I’m being disruptive. I asked him and another server to tell me what veggies come with a vegetable curry meal. He stated to me “it’s a mix of veggies they just throw it all together.” He also mentioned that what I don’t want they will not include. That’s a nice gesture but I said if I don’t know what comes with the meal, how will I know what I don’t want? He says he doesn’t have time to go in the kitchen and find out what’s in the meal. He owns the place. So I asked the female waitress and she gave the same answer. After pressing a bit and stating that I don’t understand why no one can tell me what’s in the meal, the female waitress gave me a list of veggies. I then began to tell her my order based on that info. I’m starving, by the way. The owner hears my conversation with her and interrupts and tells me I’m being rude and that he thinks I should dine somewhere else. I just shake my head and sit quietly in my seat and start to write a review. I then hear him on the phone (with the police presumably) saying he’s asked me 3 times to leave. Not wanting to be confronted by police over a vegetable inquiry I just walked out. Never in life has a restaurant been so uncompromising, rude, and...
Read moreHad to check three times to make sure the place with excellent reviews is the same I went in today. We ordered lemonades, miso soup, grill salmon with curry from today's specials advertised at the entrance Also a vegetable fried rice with cashews. I requested to add tofu and pineapple. They said $4 extra to add it, we agreed to it. Lemonade and fresh spring rolls were ok. They brought the fried rice really quickly with a little smiley face on the rice. However there was no flavor and what is worse the pineapple was not just plain but kind of fermented messing everything up. The waiter didn't seemed to be surprised but asked us if they can do it again. We started to think why there isn't anyone in this place and who knows how old the pineapple was. We said no and ask about the salmon, she said she never ordered because she didn't know if we wanted it after that dish. That was it. We canceled the desert and ask for the bill. They gave us 50% off the fried rice and no charge for pineapple. Then she asked if we are military and gave us 10% off. I have never left a restaurant giving no tip, so disappointed and worried that I...
Read moreI wasn’t sure how the experience was going to go, we walked in and were greeted by a sign telling us to seat ourselves. So we did. We were quickly given menus and our drink orders were taken; they have soft drinks in cans 🙄, and even though they have some beer taps, they only have bottled beer🤔. We explore the menu and make our selections. The fried tofu appetizer was excellent. Great size on the pieces of tofu, not too big so the insides were too gooey, and the paired sauce was delicious. My main course was the Yellow Curry. I like Yellow Curry and I believe this may be the best I have had. Very flavorful! I do not deal well with spicy food so I chose 0 spice, it had a very slight spice as Curry tends to have but that was all. They dish was so well prepared I did not want to stop eating even though I was full! My husbands main course was the Jungle Curry, he said all the parts as parts were good but as a whole they did not blend well for his liking and were nothing to write home about. He ordered the fried rice and said it was the best part of his meal.
I plan on returning the next time I find myself...
