When we call to make a reservation the person could not spell simple names. We had to spell everything. What we didn't spell he spelled wrong. We let him know that we had a 39 ft fifth wheel pulled by a truck. When we finally got there after turning around 3 to 4 times to finally find the tiny opening we regretted this reservation. We pulled into this tiny park with utility poles at every site. We were thinking we will never be able to get out of here without hitting cars or poles. It truly looked like a drug place and did not feel safe at all. The site they had picked for us was way to small and there was no way we could of back into it without taking out cars or utility poles. We had trouble just getting out. This is a company that runs alot of rv parks by phone. We were told to call 10 minutes before arriving and someone would meet us and guide us in. We did that but nobody came. We called and of course nobody answered. We left a message that we were not staying because the park was way to small for our fifth wheel. The pictures they post look nothing like the park. There is alot of live ins with clutter everywhere. No one has bothered to call us back and actually sent us a survey on how our stay was. Unbelievable!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe reception lady was very nice and the on site manager was helpful when moving in, however, our first night there our truck toolbox was broken into. This is not an ideal area as it is a very rough area and high crime area but we couldn't find anywhere else and our time was unfortunately up at Sunny Oaks on New Kings Rd which was an awesome 2 weeks. EDIT: Been here a couple months now without any issues. Prices did unfortunately go up though as well as the processing feeš£ but still probably the cheapest place you'll find. EDIT again: It's been continuing to be good here a few months. My only complaint would be my neighbor blasting music at 12:30 am one night and the next night sat outside my window where my child's asleep blaring music for at least 15 minutes until it woke him up and then went inside with his boom box blaring although once inside I couldn't hear it as much and baby went back to sleep thank goodness or I'd have taken him over there and demand he babysits since he keeps waking us up. This has never been an issue until the last week though and my kids love to run and play all through the RV park and everyone's been really great so actually loving it for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a very quiet place with mostly folks staying long-term, but the new owners are making many improvements which are attracting more short-term vacationers. There is a small dog park for your 4 legged friends. "Manny" is the top-notch maintenance/caretaker that is usually available to help guide you to your site and will help you get hooked up with a big smile on his face. You can tell that he has a love for the park and all of the visitors that he meets. I'm excited to see the park once the renovations are completed.
EDIT: this was a 5 star review, but had to be dropped to a one star. Here's why. Outdoor cats are not legal in this city, however, the park manager doesn't stop people from having them. Then, when the evict someone, they don't ensure that they take all of their pets with them. There's a special needs cat that was left behind and is hugely pregnant. Yes, I was told several times not to feed her, but I cannot watch an animal suffer. It would have been cruel to let her starve. I had arranged for her to be picked up by a rescue that never showed up. I have been working on finding homes for the kittens and mama. I have now been told to...
