We ordered this through ubereats so no interaction with the staff themselves. That said the food was HORRIBLE. Stringy, dry chicken in the General Tso's and the sauce wasn't even spicy and I don't have a high tolerance for spice in the first place. The crab rangoon/wonton that we received was soft and extremely light colored as though barely fried at all. The fried rice was, I struggle to find words for how awful it was, the best I can come up with is that Panda Express has better fried rice. The eggrolls were okay. The lo mein passed for lo mein and was the best thing we got but that isn't saying much considering how low the bar was. Five rodent droppings on the dry storage shelf next to the containers of flour and sugar. Nineteen rodent droppings on the floor in the room where the mop sink is stored. Thirty rodent droppings near the hot water heater. Twenty-five rodent droppings on the bottom shelf of the prep table where seasonings are stored at the end of the cookline. Eight rodent droppings on the shelf where sauces are stored behind the steam table. Fifteen rodent droppings on the table near the cordless phone. A follow-up inspection showed the restaurant was back in compliance that same day.

The best take out Chinese food on this side of town. Now if you want good customer service too you’re at the wrong place. Service with a smile is not happening at Hop Shing and honestly it doesn’t bother me at all. I recommend calling in your order please know what you want they are fast paced and the ladies that answer the phone are about business! The line is always long especially at night and the weekends. I always get the boneless ribs with egg and onion fried rice chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls. I’ve never been disappointed food is always hot and rice is fresh.
