Salon 180 — Local services in Jacksonville

This review is for one person, and doesn’t reflect the other ladies at the salon. I got my hair done by Angelica some months ago, and after the first visit, I referred my sister to her. I went one other time, which was the last time because she talks a lot and tend to keep customers waiting. Although, my sister continued to go to her but has experienced Angelica not being considerate of her time, either coming late to the appointments, or still doing or starting other people’s hair at the same time slot as her appointment. The last straw was today, when she went in, and Angelica started someone else’s hair once again, so my sister left. She doesn’t appear to care that people may travel a distance and may have to change around plans to make an appointment. How can one person be so inconsiderate , and to top it off she sees my sister waiting and she’s laughing and talking with others and started someone else’s hair that may have been a walk-in, possibly a friend she knows. SAVED MY LIFE!!!!! Long story short....took the wig off after wearing for years but I knew my hair needed to be chopped off from damage and I wanted a perm so I went to a "known" salon for my makeover. When I left that night I was so hurt I didn't have the strength to speak. I just took my hair down and went to sleep (not to mention the money I wasted). Next morning husband found Salon 180. I called and spoke to Angelica which was able to fit me in at 930 Saturday AM. When I arrived, the place was spotless and everyone was so pleasant! Angelica....GOD SENT!!!! I was in her chair 20 minutes after arriving and she performed a miracle!!!! I didn't think there was any hope but there was. I was so happy that my eyes became glossy. Guess who found her permanent hair salon???? So look, whether your hair is in trouble or you just need that look....GO TO SALON 180!!!! They stand by their word and you won't be disappointed! DO NOT GO TO MS. MAE. I am extremely displeased. I sat in the chair.for 5 hrs only to be told to come back tomorrow so that she could add another track. I got home and noticed areas that the lace was not sealed down and another area where she cut too much of the lace off and it couldn't be sealed. There is an area where there is a lump and it doesn't lay smoothly. I tried to see how I would look if I did a ponytail and realized she left a huge area of my hair without and tracks at all. I plan to go back to get all these things corrected. Will update review accordingly.
