Duval wings — Restaurant in Jacksonville

As I strolled into the establishment, I expecting a wing stop quality joint. I was proven wrong on many levels. I got the 10 wing dinner for 10.99 and chose corn nuggets as my side.

The corn nuggets were on point! As my teeth sunk into that golden crispy outter shell I felt my soul escape me and transcend into heaven where Justin (the owner) was standing at the pearly gates with a basket full of more of those delectable golden delicious corn nuggets. All of of batter, ranch, corn and creme was like a rich fugue of flavors that smacked my tastebuds gently, yet ardently!

The wings, oh what heaven those wings were with their crinkled skin tightly wrapped around the wing glistening with classic buffalo sauce like diamond pertruding from the depths of the the earth. The chicken was cooked thoroughly and the bone marrow flavor emanated from it source throughout the meat like a seductive siren from Scylla. That wasn’t just no ordinary wing....it’s was God, speaking to me through food, Fried by the arch angel Micheal himself. I don’t know the fryers name, but I regret not shaking that man’s hand before I left, he did an astounding job with my meal.

Even the soda, has the perfect amount of crispness to it. The carbonation was expertly calculated to reach optimal levels. You absolutely will not find a better establiment for wings in Jax, Esp. Because the prices are great!

If I could give no stars I would. My manager went to get food and went online and looked at pricing. So I ordered all flats for a dollar extra. They let us order all flats at the register at the store, then when my manager came back with our food I had 3 drums and 2 flats. So I called and tried to speak with a manager, the girl stated theres not a manager there. So I told her what happened and she told me that they couldn't give me all flats. So why give someone a option for it? Have me pay for it if you can't give me what I want? So she said I could come back which is out of my way at least 30 min there and back for my dollar back that I paid extra. Im very unhappy to the point I wanted my all of my money back and didnt want to eat there again. Whats crazy is I was the one that referred this place and all of my coworkers went. We spent over 40 bucks and I like flats if I do get wings. I wouldve changed my whole order if they would have said prior that I couldn't get what Im paying for. Very disappointed and won't return. Or refer...

I called to place an order and I was maybe 2 mins away they would not take my order if I was paying with cash I had to come in to order. I was told by owner the policy is if you order 20.00 or more on the phone. I had to pay with a credit card. Well my order was 21.00 and some change including including tax. We as black folks always complaining about the other people but we just want just enough to make it. Those other people make enough to make more. I have went to many other establishments that take your order over the phone and no matter how much it is they still take your order. If no one picks it up they take a lost as a lost. I have been here since 9 and no one has come in the door But he says he does pretty well. I don't see how. I been waiting since 9 I could have been. No more for me. I hope he continues to...
