The only reason this is a 4 star gym is due to the facility and equipment. The staff here rigorously maintain all of the available items for exercise and efficiently fix problems as they come up. So A+ for that!

Having said that, I understand there are orders and policies that must be followed.

I'm not a Kevin or Karen, but hear me out. If you're gonna check someone for wearing a stupid cutoff tank or a hat indoors, but then not check the basic white girl wearing nothing but a sports bra and compression shorts, doesn't that seem hypocritical?

Whether or not someone finds a person attractive is irrelevant and if people feel comfortable wearing whatever they want, then go ahead. But don't impose rules on one population that won't be imposed on another based on personal choice or bias or preference. And why didn't I check her? Because I personally don't care what anyone wears. Also, to that point, good luck being a man and correcting a woman on attire now anyways. It's a coin toss as to whether you're called sexist or misogynistic. Either way, I don't care it you wanna wear a sports bra or a take too or have a weighted belt on while you're doing leg curls; just be fair across the board to everyone.

Anyways, decent gym. Iffy rules. Packed in the morning, just like any other base....

Parking lot: Plenty of parking even though it was crowded and one lot was committed to the vaccine for covid. Staff: Sssooo friendly. The brown curly hair was super friendly and accommodating. Equipment: Members do not wipe down after use. I recommend wiping before and after. Every machine is a available. Multiple cable machines. Cardio section is on the second floor with a track. There is also an indoor pool and rock climbing wall. Amenities: They will lend locks 🔐 if you forget. They have small lockers and sea bag lockers, hair dryers, wet spinner, and suana. Plenty of showers with change area attached with privacy curtains. There is really good 3 in 1 soap, smells good. Digital scale. Multiple rooms for different activities.

Ladies 🚺 it is mostly male but me and the other girl were comfortable. There was no noticeable male gaze. The 1 dude I interacted with helped with the machine. They are focused and working out. I felt safe. Disclaimer* I'm not hot anymore but the girl was and I was watching our surroundings.

All to say. They invested well...

It really only deserves 1 star, but it gets 2 stars because I'm comfortable here. It's my home away from home. I get super annoyed when I can barely make it to the weights without almost getting kicked or ruining someone's reps by walking in his way. I am full of disgust with thoughts about how poorly designed this multi million dollar mansion of a gym that the govt. paid for. Such a HUGE gym with merely a small living room with very few racks and machines to share with swarms of Marines. I'm a small woman, but I'm literally standing right next to Marines on all sides of me as we try not to hit each other while doing free weights. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS OVERCROWDING PROBLEM. That gigantic building!?!...
