One of my favorite places, period! The vibe of the store is just awesome! I sometimes come several times a week just to hang out for a little bit. They have a writers room and a small children's area where I can grab a small moment to read some manga while my toddler plays kitchen. He also loves to say hi to Bella. Selection-wise, they have a great variety of different romances, and I've found their manga selection to be incredibly refreshing! It's great to see a bunch of different types of relationships available for reading. I also really appreciate their customer service. I once bought a book that ended up having some topics I just wasn't comfortable with (I should have looked inside the cover, but I was in a hurry), and the staff was nice enough to allow me to return it even though I couldn't get back to the store for several weeks! They've also kept me from accidentally buying the same manga volume twice, even though it meant they didn't get that sale. They're always super friendly and happy to give great recommendations. Overall, I cannot recommend this...

My husband found a small loveseat in the back to sit while I browsed, but was soon told by one of the clerks that he couldn't sit there despite his disability (he has to use a cane to get around and can't stand for very long). Because of this, we had to leave. While I understand that a lot of this was due to the festival, the lack of ADA accommodations was kind of discouraging. I really want to support this bookstore, so I hope they consider...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love the shop so much. The staff are all knowledgable and helpful when you visit the shop. I began shopping there shortly after the original location opened and attended some of the book clubs.
With the move to the much larger J-town location, the shop is even better. They carry a huge selection of books in several sub-genres including fantasy, dark romance, sports, LGBTQ+, and young adult. Besides the best sellers, they have curated a diverse collection of books that include independent authors and romances that highlight many different cultures.
On top of that, there are many bookish gifts like bookmarks, stickers, and more. One final unique feature is a writer's room with space for people to come in to work on their oen books along with refernece books on the writing process.
If you enjoy romance novels, you really can't...
