Been going here for yrs, but it's really gone downhill lately in terms of service and quality of food. The service in particular was the last straw. The place was less than 50% capacity so not busy. It took 15 minutes to order drinks and a cheese dip. Nearly 10 minutes later the drinks come with the cheese dip....without any chips or salsa. Another 5 minutes goes by and finally the chips arrive now that the cheese dip was cold. Another 10 minutes go by without seeing our waitress again she drops the silverware &napkins off quickly without taking our order. More waiting.....finally she returns without her pad when we ask to put in an order and has to get it. We order, and wait, and wait, and wait for 20 more minutes. We ask twice about our food and are assured it's almost ready. When we finally get our food it's stone cold because it sat so long in the back. The whole time the waitress had tended to a birthday song and the rest of the time was MIA. We mentioned the cold food and the wait. During this entire debacle we watched 11 other tables come in, order, eat and pay before we recieved our bill. She said she would take 2meals off for the inconvenience. We went to pay and the 2 meals were still on the check. I told the manager at the register about everything and that the waitress said she would adjust the bill. He refused and proceeded to argue with us that we should have to pay still. He asked why we didn't send the food back to be "reheated". I responded that I would have if there hadn't been ANOTHER 10 minute absence by our waitress after she finally brought it out. He continued to argue, glare and berate me about how I was wrong. He eventually took it off without ever apologizing for the bad service & cold food. I explained that I now understood why the service and customer service was so atrocious. It was a direct reflection of management's attitude. I hate that we will no longer be taking business there, and I rarely leave bad reviews for local businesses. But this is after a steady decline and completely falling off this last time. This location needs a complete overhaul from...
Read moreIt was 12 of us, who came to celebrate a birthday. The food quality was good, but unfortunately, our waiter was not. He could not hold himself still even one second! He would not listen when we tried to place an order, instead, he rushed somewhere else after a single word. As of result, it took us several tries to order drinks, appetizers, and main dishes. Hilarious, he asked several times which tortious would we prefer- flour or corn, but forgot to bring any after all. None of the soft drinks were refilled, even water. Why? Because he didn't come after the dishes were served! Came back with the bill and complained loudly after he realized I gave him only a 10% tip! He went to my wife and harassed her saying "how embarrassing, not even 15%", I did not hear that but wish he dare to say those words to me. Tequila shots were so watered down to the point it was just water with a Tequila smell. We stopped after 2nd round. I would recommend placing the take-out order here, since the food quality is good, and skipping...
Read moreWe called early and had a party of 15 for a birthday. They said that's fine. We get there our name was the only one the was written down and they gave us a run around said they had 6 other big parties but none was even there yet and our name was the only written down for a big group and they even had a table and went to set us down and then a guy said no no you cant have this table. Then the story kept changing. The saddest part my daughter wanted to go there for her 6th birthday (she loves el nopal she called it fancy tacos) after all the run around we decided to go to another el nopal location and they got us in with no problems and they was much friendlier. I would recommend going to a different area for a big party this location obviously dont want business from...
