I was second in line to get a new battery. More customers came into the store. I paid for the battery and ask to take it to my truck since it was too heavy for me to lift because of two back surgeries. I said that I hope my truck would crank because I had to jump it off to get to the store. The guy said they would jump it off if I could not crank my truck. I finally ask could I get someone to replace it for me. They didn't volunteer to do it. Two other workers came out to help with new customers. The manager came out and ask me what I needed. I said that I have already bought a new battery and needed it replaced. He told the one who sold me the battery to take finish with the next customer and put it in. He kept waiting on other customers. At this time there were three workers at the counter. Over 20 minutes had past and still no one wanted to help me that had already paid. I called home to tell them the problem and was headed back to counter to get my money back after waiting over 30 min. They must have heard me because I was speaking in a loud voice. The manager made the guy stop checking others out to put my battery in. The story gets worse. The parts to change the bolts could not be found. I had to wait more. The thing that piss me off was when the guy was leaving withe the old battery, I ask what was the $18 surcharge? He said it was for the old battery when returned. I found a broken part under the hood that I couldn't identify. The manager came out to see it was was able to finally search out the part on their interchange list.
