City Electric Supply LLC — Local services in Jersey City

We didn’t purchase anything from the store but I would like to share a great service from the people who works there. We’ve been walking from the liberty state park port after we did a Statue of Liberty tour. There were no taxi around the area and our phones doesn’t have any signal. We have approached a lot of people along the way asking for directions on how we can go back to the cruise port but nobody bothered to help us until we approached two guys from this store. We were all freezing as we are not used to this amount of cold (we are from the sunny part of Asia 😅). Not only did they called an uber using their phone, they let us inside a dining area at the back of their store to keep us warm, and they waited until the car arrived even when they are already close. I forgot to get their names but if I remember it correctly, they are father and son. Such a great people! Thank you so much...

I have an old breaker box and one of the breakers opened up and as a result the power went out in our kitchen. I went to Home Depot, Lowe’s, and to another hardware store to locate the correct breaker to replace. I did not find a matching breaker in any of these stores. I finally went to City Electric Supply a little sheepishly since they deal with professionals on a daily basis, all I needed was a single breaker for an old breaker box. I waited about 5 minutes to get to speak to someone behind the counter. I showed him a photo of the breaker I needed, because I did not know how to replace it. He came back with the breaker; I paid for it and before leaving the counter asked how to replace it in the box. He gave me instructions; It only took a minute. When I got home, it took me all of five minutes to replace the breaker and turn the power back on in...

the customer service in this store is a zero you have employees that are rude the older gentlemen in there i was trying to explain an issue an he was like i don't know who you talking to i was i was like you you asked a quit ion why am i returning the part i was sold something that was not up to code and they are tying to say it is then the employee walked away and said talk to someone else i would not recommend this company their older staff claims to know it all and are just plain old rude i would spend my money elsewhere don't waste your time on companies like these with inadequate employee and very poor customer...
