MT Salon — Local services in Jersey Village

I have a wedding coming up this Saturday, so I decided to go to a Salon in Vintage Park to get a nice haircut. First time their and last time. By the time they were done cutting my hair I was pretty disappointed, the young lady gave me an awful fade! Thankfully my friend told me about MK Salon and let me know that Mike had been cutting his hair for 7 years. I decided to show up... When I sat down to get my haircut, Mike immediately recognized how bad of a haircut I had gotten. He told me he would take care of it and make it look nice for the wedding.... 30 minutes later, I was speechless! was not expecting him to do such a great job! haha i didn't think there was much he could do! but that was by far one of the nicest haircuts I've gotten in a long time! I do a lot of traveling across the country, and Ive gotten my hair cut in a lot of places! But Mike definitely gave me the cleanest fade and hair cut yet! I’m just gonna say my family usually gets there haircut here, but not anymore. Not after my little brother decided to go get a haircut here on his own. Mind you he’s a young minor/teen who goes to school doesn’t make any money. He got a haircut there and the guy tells him it’s $13 okay that’s fine. My brother gives him $13 exactly cause that’s probably all he had. And the guy has the audacity to tell my brother “next time you need to tip” who in God’s name tells people you have to tip. Don’t get me wrong of course we would tip you for your service, but it’s also optional. When my family goes there we tip really well and he sure knows us, so you definitely know we aren’t coming back here. I’m a professional license barber for 12 years out of Boston. I know what to look for and what to expect when going to get a haircut. I was here for 5 days visiting some families and needed someone to touch me up. Usually I would just do it myself but I didn’t feel like packing my clippers this time. As I was searching for barbers in the area, MT Salon one the first to pop up. They had good rating and reviews. So I decided to give the place a try since it’s just 2 mile from where I’m staying. What’s the worse that can happen? I can always fix it myself. When I got there I sat in Mike chair. I know if a barber can cut or not just by feeling how the clipper run on my head.
