Camelot Inns & Suites — Hotel in Jersey Village

Well I stayed here last night. There were urn hole all in the blankets. But generally clean. It also seems that they also have a spying problem. The room was basic and the same as you would get from. Many other similarly priced hotels. But today I come back and the front desk lady says that she's full and there is no more rooms left. I said okay. I said I'm going to be here in the lobby waiting for a friend who was also coming here to get a room. Somebody came in five minutes later and ask if they can get a room. She's says yes they have rooms and she priced it a t 75. But she told me that they don't have any rooms. It mu's t be the color of my skin. Because the other person was white and I am Hispanic. So racist is what I feel. So I'm writing this review while I'm in the lobby waiting for my. Friend. She even says I can't only wait 15 minutes. Like what I'm doing here is bothering her. That's bad business. And I was here last night. Trying to come and give them more money. This is a personal. Issue I have with this place now. So be careful coming here. If she's working than she might say no to you...

Depending on what you are used to this place is pretty bad. You know when you watch a movie and there is that scene with someone strung out on drugs and they are barely able to stay alive day to day and they always seem to be living in some run down motel? This is that motel. I stayed for a week when I had absolutely no other options that weren't $350+/night due to an event in Houston that week. If you are used to staying in a major brand hotel like Hilton, Marriott, heck even red roof in etc, you might just want to go ahead and pay whatever premium there might be. The room I was in had cigarette burns on everything, the list of what wasn't burned was significantly shorter. Perhaps the best part is that this was a non-smoking room. It seemed like periodically they must evaluate all the furniture and throw away the worst condition stuff and replace it with flea market purchases or stuff that other hotels were about to throw away.

Staff was nice, that's about all I can say about it...

Went for just a one-night, too tired to drive, sort of thing. First of all, right when you walk in, the room hits you with a crazy colorful mural of jaguars and jungles.. the ceiling is painted like a sky.. a built in black light by the bed, and the said "sky" turns into a galaxy when all other lights are off. The hardcore "adult entertainment" was a bit much, on channels 3 and 4 of all channels.. but we had an overall good experience. The "wake-up call" was a bit too harsh, I must say.. The deadbolts have been removed, and the manager will literally come in, while you're in bed and kick you out.. kind of awkward. ||||The bed was extremely comfortable, the TV was super nice, and it had a fridge/microwave/dvd...
