Stripes — Local services in Jersey Village

My Family and I shop in this Stripes & occasionally buy gas from this location...I gave a 2 star review with a long paragraph full of complaints about 6 months ago...but I have noticed Improvements in the cleanliness of the store & the Employees making a sincere effort to greet each customer who enter the store...so Thanks #Stripes. I edit and changed my review to a 5 star today due to AN Awesome Outstanding Commendable display of Customer Service experienced by my Eldest Daughter on 07-15-2019 from Manager? Supervisor? Clerk? Not sure of his exact title...but he's a #Leader & he works early morning shifts and his name is #Ernest😁👏👏. My daughter loss all of her I.D. & Medical cards & Credit/Debit cards....on 07-14-2019 apparently after making her usual stop for breakfast burritos( Delicious by the way!😁) before heading to her 6:00 a.m. work shift....she didn't realize until later in the day...stopped by this store in the evening then later that night....but front cashiers didn't see any loss & found...but one nice lady working late shift Sunday nite 07-14-2019...did recommend that she come back & ask Supervisor #Ernest the next morning....My daughter was anxious & upset at having loss & maybe having to replace all of those items...Well...Thank God Mr. Ernest noticed she left her small I.D. wallet on the counter the morning before...and had drove off before he could catch up with her...so he had put it up for safekeeping....Thanks & Gratitude Mr. Ernest from our Family & I hope #Stripes reward you with a #Promotion...because you deserve...

The employees are the slowest staff on earth. They really don’t care when there are people waiting 20 minutes in line. It’s a nice clean store. Nicest one on 249 for miles. So they are always busy. They have 4 registers but the most I’ve ever seen open is 2. The manager, this guy, he just walks around all slow and just stands behind the counter staring at 20 people in line. Doesn’t open a register and knock out the line a little. He’s way to cool to help out and actually work. His bonus must just be sales and not how long people wait in line. Anyway. It’s 1/4 mile from my shop and I dread having...

Staffs at this location are extremely rude and has zero customer service skills. I went in to purchase a money order and the cashier was recounting the money lnpaid her without verifying with the client and l could not see what she was doing. I ask to speak to the manager on duty and when he shows up he ask me what was my problem? Really? Birds of the same feather flocks together. I can see where the cashier gets her training .
