I’m in my 4th decade of gun buying and have spent a lot of time at gun counters and gun shows. We were in the area for New Years, staying at an Airbnb a half block away from JTG&A. After a 4 hr drive up from DC, my wife dragged my tired butt to the shop. I didn’t really want to go in, I’ve been battling gun buyer fever having purchased 3 guns since COVID and didn’t want to waste the sales guy’s time. Owner Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable. I knew we made a connection when he said he liked just spending time in his shop, it was a zen moment. With a large selection of hand and long guns, Chris is an admitted Glock guy. As a SIG guy, I didn’t hold that against him and after fondling a 43X with its highly visible sights, I think I’ve found my first Glock. My wife has mentioned how she liked the 43X twice since stopping in the shop. Chris’s prices are more reasonable than my normal haunts. Regarding his shop, the phrase small but mighty came to mind when thinking of writing this review. If I was a PA resident, I’d be asking Chris if he had a frequent buyer program. STAY AWAY !! BAD Business practices !! The owner DOES NOT LIKE people who moved to PA from out of town & especially dislikes people from NJ & NY. Chris was extremely sneaky and ran the background check out of plainsight in the back room. Also lied to me about the # of days to wait for the background check results. He told me 15 days when it is only 5. They elevate gun prices & change price tags when asked for an all cash discount. When he takes money off it seems like he gave you a good deal when it was the original price he wanted from the start. BE CAREFUL AT THIS SHOP !!! A lot better gun store owners to do proper business with out here in PA !!

I left the store went to another gun shop the next day. The background check was completed in transparent view & approved to buy any gun I wanted on the spot within minutes which I did. You're thinking of another potential customer you chose to play games with and lost. More people will expose you and this shop as time goes on. BUSINESS...

Love this store! I never know what to buy my husband but he LOVES guns! Chris and Nick (the staff) make it so easy now! I go in and tell them what I’m looking for and they make it happen! I just got my hubby a TOMMY GUN with the Drum for his birthday (Coolest wife ever)! I was even able to do a layaway so I didn’t have to hide it beforehand. They have such a great selection it’s hard to just walk out with one or even two guns. You can tell that each piece was handpicked to display in the store. The store and staff are very welcoming and very knowledgeable. They make you feel like the only customer even when they have a full store. Every question answered, every person helped and a handshake and a Thank you for your business at the end of every sale....
