Today marks the anniversary of Kristallnacht (November 9–10, 1938), when the most shameful events in human history began. For this reason, I solemnly commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and their sacred memory. May God protect Israel and His children.
I lived in Germany for the last three years. Together with my family, I experienced racism and discrimination, which raised my awareness of this topic. My daughter is now around the same age as Anne Frank. The discrimination we faced is of course not comparable, but it helped me better understand the pain endured during that period.
I had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Holocaust firsthand by visiting significant sites such as the Anne Frank House, the Bergen-Belsen Camp, and Auschwitz.
