Bears Games — Local services in Johnson

I've attempted to visit this place half a dozen times this year and every time they have been closed. Even though the hours posted on their door said they were supposed to be open. (The three different places their hours are posted all conflict too)This last recent attempt I even messaged them on Facebook confirming if they were going to be open. But, alas, they were closed when my group arrived. Owner on Facebook said their employee called in and they were out of town. Nothing posted, however. I was offered a 5 dollar credit for my troubles, but at this point. We're done trying.

Hours have changed - Google doesn't seem to update it; Sunday, Monday, Friday Closed Tuesday; Magic Commander 5pm -10pm Wednesday; Super Smash Brothers 5pm -??? Thursday; D&D & Yu-Gi-Oh 5p.m. - 9p.m. Saturday; Yu-Gi-Oh 4p.m. - 8p.m.

We been going for 7 years now. The owner, Richard, is great and makes everyone feel welcomed. A nice small local shop in an older historic building. A great place to chill & hang out. Fair pricing on Cards, Games, Books, Miniatures, and Terrain. D&D group on Thursdays is alot of fun! Very friendly people running the events on days listed above. I went there for a regional Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, the venue was very poor, with tables being crammed into a room with workout equipment, and not even close to enough room to comfortably hold the listed capacity for the event, forcing players to stand outside in between rounds of play.
