Party City — Local services in Fayetteville

Love this place and all of its options. Doesn’t always have what I need but that’s okay. However they should make sure their employees understand what it means to help the customers. Last two times I’ve been in there the girls I asked for help seemed extremely uninterested in being there. This last trip, I asked a young lady (her name was Jordan) for help and told her what I was looking for exactly and she just stood there and said, “ummm yeah I’m not sure, I don’t think we have anything like that” tells me if they did it might be “over there” and just points in the general direction. My son and I were so frustrated. He’s around the same age as her and even said himself that he couldn’t believe the way she responded to us. My husband and I brought our sealed envelope of our baby's gender to Party City to have them setup the balloon reveal for us (while still keeping it a secret from ourselves). Angela, along with her service dog Fury, were the most helpful EVER. She was very careful to make sure we did not see what the gender is going to be. She had us pick out everything for if it's a boy and everything if it's a girl. Then she rang up everything without us looking and even put a paper towel over the debit card machine's screen to make sure we didn't see what color balloons were rang up. We were kind of nervous doing the balloon setup ourselves because we were worried we'd see something. But she made sure it didn't happen and it was such a good experience. Thanks...

VERY DiSAPPOINTED! Customer service is very lacking, even when asking for a manager. Not even an apology for any inconvenience. Would not have been that big of a deal if the customer service had been better. Dealt with 3 different employees including the store manager. They had what I was looking for in store but put away in the back to make room for Halloween. Refused to get the items so we could buy. We checked online before coming to the store. Online said the items were in stock in the store. My large amount of money will be spent elsewhere. Planning and buying for a wedding is not cheap. I will not use party city for anything again.
