I have shipped and enjoyed Randys for years and was always satisfied until recently. My disappointment in the deli workers will probably cause me to go elsewhere for my groceries because of the rudeness of their service. I ordered the ham that they had on special and requested it chipped. The "lady" working went for the pre cut in the case and I stopped her to remind her I ask for chipped. As she out the sliced back she turned away and said "of course you do", I don't think she intended for me to hear her. I did. Then I assured her that of course I did. Its your job, get over it. Is what I should have said.
Aug 4 2024Ok, I'm going to do something I would not normally do, but this really upset me. I just left Bilo on Osborne st, and witnesses one of the most upsetting displays by store MGMT and associates. As I was checking out there was a older gentleman (75-80ish) at the front of the store he had just checked out and gone to his car and realized his chicken wasn't in his bags (8 piece pre cooked 12$). The "employees" were arguing with him telling him he must have lost them or just hasn't looked hard enough in his car , he said he would go look again and they followed him out. Now the checkout ladie has just rung him up I was in the line. I left and went to the parking lot and two possibly 3 employees were at his car. I'm not 💯 sure the man in the security shirt was an employee or just watching the commotion. Anyway, my point here us this. Randy's Bilo has some of the highest prices in town, there is always the chance that his chicken got taken by the customer in front of him at checkout accidentally it happens, I have seen it. This is the stores fault , don't ring up another customer while another is still gathering their purchase . Give the prices at Bilo it would not have hurt them one little bit to just graciously replaced that gentleman's chicken, but they choose to argue and say basically, to bad for you. I am now retired, but I was in retail management for 40 years, you get to know if someone is scamming you, this gentleman was not, he just wanted hia dinner. Trust me, he got a replacement chicken pack. But it wasn't from the store. Bilo you need to be put in check and be ashamed of yourselves. And your management team needs a refresher course in customer service. Randy, I will be speaking with you the next time I am passed your store. The amount of time your at least two employees spent basically calling this gentleman a liar cost you more in payroll than that chicken would have cost...

When I asked her if she could double bag it so it did not rip apart when I picked it up she RUDRLY told me if i wanted it doubled bagged so it did not tear open before i carried it home i needed to bring my own reusrsble bag with me. I told I HAVE A CAR I DO NOT WANT IT TO RIPE WHILE TAKING TO THE CAR FROM BADKET OR CARRYING INTO MY HOUSE . Read moreFirst time visiting this store and there was one cashier and the front desk said they would ring us out. We get to the front desk and there is no where to put your items. You are literally handing them to her one by one. We purchased donuts and the lady said to leave the box in the cart as it was being lifted out of the cart. Gave us a PAID STICKER for it. While in the process of putting the donuts back in. There was a white old worker who said you left something in your cart-OBVIOUSLY we weren’t checking out. We said thanks and handed them to the cashier. He then left from behind us and went and got a manager as if we were stealing. MIND YOU WE ARE AT CUSTOMER ER SERVICE DESK WHERE THERE IS NO SPACE TO PUT DOWN ALL OF YOUR ITEMS. If we were WHITE, there would have never been the need to get a manager. Who then proceeded to watch us, with NOTHING else left in the cart. But because we are African-American we were automatically stereotyped. I will NEVER visit this...
