Brookshire's — Local services in Jonesboro

5/2/19 ~ Aisle 1. The cashier was a very sweet young lady who smiled and was very professional. However the "bagboy" was the complete opposite. He was in his mid 20s and frankly was horrid.... He was obnoxious, tossed dogfood with canned vegetables, tossed canned items on candy, didn't double bag heavier items, and when my husband asked him to be careful he "smirked and pumped" his head NOT responding verbally. This was the first time I saw this person and hopefully the last. I realize his salary isn't the best, but he knew when he accepted the job what his responsibilities would be and hopefully how to act. I've never been to Brookshires where the bagboy shoved the buggy to the customer when the transaction was complete. Had I not been 1 week post cervical fusion and my husband was late for work I would have demanded my money back and left the groceries there. Someone needs to call this disgusting lazy chump into the office and explain HOW to assist people. Brookshires = 5* Cashier = 5* ...

My problem experiences have been about Brookshires policies. I had no idea when we bought a money order for Louisana Wild Life and Fisheries which they sent back because the amount was incorrect that I couldn't exchange it for the correct amount! Nope you buy one and they offer no exchange or refund so approximately $160 down the drain which is a rip off I can't afford. I also wrote an out of state check but my state wasn't in the system, a manager approved it, 3 days later I wrote another check and the state wasn't in the system a different manager wouldn't approve it. The checks were good and I spend a lot of money with Brookshires! I am disappointed plus both issues were the same manager, maybe my appearance wasn't up to par? I want...

It's the only grocery store in town unless u count Walmart as a grocery store. Must watch! I've gotten rice that was spoiled, a dinner box with wee less in it, and it's fairly pricey compared to other grocery stores.
