Reign is THE BEST. I can not stress this enough. They are extremely talented, which for me, having someone who knows what they're doing is the priority, but then there's all the many other wonderful reasons why I never want to have my hair done anywhere else that are the icing on the cake. I'm Hispanic and I have super thick mixed hair. Curly, kinky, wavy. It's all in there. ​ In the past, the stylists I went to always made me feel bad for all my hair. I could see they were exhausted and it made me feel terrible no matter if I liked the end result or not. Everything changed when I went to Reign. First off, walking into the salon is just the most instantly relaxing experience. It's a beautiful open space with a single chair rather than rows of booths, and feels more like you're being invited into a warm gathering at a favorite cafe than entering a hair salon. It's clean but homey and welcoming. The energy is so inviting and warm.

Reign is an absolute gem and even long processes and styling is enjoyable with their company. Honestly, truly one of the best humans I've met in my life. Add on to that Reign is a color wizard, always understands the assignment and understands the looks I want even though I am not always great at communicating them.

They make me feel so comfortable during the entire process and I've finally felt comfortable and confident enough to experiment with more of my wish looks that I didn't trust I could get right before. It's been so great having that confidence in Reign to help me find and express myself.

My hair experience with Reign was honestly the FIRST 100% positive experience I've had at a hair salon ever in my entire life. And I'm over 30 years old.

It's just five stars across the board. They hit every single wish, Location, vibe, skill, experience, end result. I couldn't ask for more. I mean, obviously free would be dope but getting your hair done here is so worth every single penny I can't even complain at all. I've paid much more for hair treatments in the past and been far less satisfied.

I hope Reign never leaves, I get compliments on my hair constantly and I always recommend Reign to everyone I know.

Gosh, where do I even start!

Firstly I want to start off by saying, Reign is AMAZING at what they do and will recommend them to everyone I know! (After my appointment I definitely already sent a link to their site to a close friend!)

I had never gotten my hair professionally colored before and was super nervous since I have super dark, and super long thick hair - that alone feels like a burden when I go to a regular stylist/salon in itself but when I came to Reign (using their digital consoltation form), all of my worries melted away! It was such an easy process to reach out, talk about my desires for my hair, and book!

From the start, seeing Reign's work through social media leading up to reaching out for an appointment got me SO excited to let them play with my hair! They are so understanding, accepting, and such a welcoming soul - so refreshing!! From start to finish there was such an open line of communication I felt so comfortable and understood even before stepping inside their private studio. Speaking of private studio- YES A PRIVATE STUDIO- gosh it's so amazing!! I felt so at home the whole afternoon I was getting my hair done and had such a fun yet relaxing time chatting up the afternoon with them. This was such an amazing change to a more personalble experience rather than feeling rushed like at a normal salon. When looking for a stylist, a high level of trust and comfotablitly was super important to me and with the open line of communication it helped tremendously in both areas. I pride myself in my hair and with the nature of it being so long, it had been a hard journey for me to find a stylist I trust to cut and color it, but now that I've found Reign I'm not going anywhere else!!

When I first went to Reign, my hair was falling out. It was likely a combination of being on a new medication that dried out my scalp pretty severely and trying to bleach it myself while ON that medication. As embarrassed as I was, I did not receive any judgement, only gentle advice, and I am pleased to say my hair is now growing back as thick and as full as ever.

Each time before starting, they listened to what I wanted and talked it through with me to assure we were on the same page, offering their professional advice here and there. I was recently feeling comfortable enough to use some of the bleach work I had done previously to do some vivids, and Reign encouraged me to go for a more vibrant color to prolong the life of my hair dye as it would fade very quickly to the color I wanted. I’m not going to lie, when I saw the final color I liked it, but was skeptical about it fading to the color I wanted. I didn’t care much at the time as I had just missed having vivids in my hair, but I was delighted to see as it faded that the more turquoisey color it ended up was fading to the soft silvery blue I had been wanting for so long now.

In addition, though Reign is never impolite, I have always appreciated their honesty when asking for advice on my hair and offering ways that I can accommodate my desire to play around with it a bit at home while still being safe and taking good care of it in-between sessions.
