From The Earth Dispensary Brookside — Local services in Kansas City

The the quality of their products are ok.

(Double taxation is a rip off.)

We did not fight to legalize cannabis in order to make the owners of these dispensaries rich. We legalized cannabis for the sake of being able to consume the product safely, at an affordable/fair cost, so that we can properly medicate ourselves without having to sacrifice our peace of mind.

From The Earth is selling a quarter ounce of cannabis, for the same price that a half ounce of cannabis is being sold for in almost every other legalized state. Almost every dispensary within other legalized states are selling full ounces(28g) starting at $99, why is From The Earth selling 1g carts of any kind of distillate concentrate for $80-$90 in 2023? Most dispensaries such as "JARS Cannabis", "Altitude The Dispensary", and many others in legalized states run deals that offer the customer/consumer between 3-5 (1g) carts EACH for the price of $100. I strongly suggest that the owners of From The Earth dispensaries reevaluate their business plan, because It's unacceptable, and unfair to the customers/consumers that are spending their hard-earned money with a money hungry company; that rarely has any deals to offer. If From The Earth is going to round up the money that we spend as customers/consumers, then From The Earth needs round up the amount of grams/product that they sell us in order to equal more.

No, I'm not going to travel to other states for better prices. Instead, I'm going to demand that the owners of these companies introduce better prices to their customers/consumers. No excuses, just get it done. I refuse to allow anyone to tell me that it can't be done, because I know it can. Taxes should not be equivalent, nor should they exceed the amount in which the product(s) are being sold for. I feel robbed, and bamboozled out of my money when looking back at how much I spent on products that I know aren't worth what they're being sold for. I'm realizing that shopping with From The Earth and other money hungry companies may be convenient within the moment, but it's not convenient in the long run. I have no problem with spending money on quality things that don't break me in the process, but the prices at From The Earth Dispensaries are too high; higher than I've ever been able to get from any of their products.

I am no stranger to From The Earth. Every product in the photo that I've posted was purchased at From The Earth Dispensaries, and the photo doesn't even include all the products that I've ever purchased from the company; just in case anyone wants to undermine my complaint, or what I've spent.

I've also attached seven other photos of "JARS Dispensary" in which I'm quite familiar with as a customer/consumer, the photos show the daily deals that the dispensary offers. No, they are not the only dispensaries that run awesome deals (as proven on their website), "JARS" is just the dispensary that I decided to use as an example. It's a slap in the face to loyal customers/consumers when they realize that the company that they've been loyal to, has been completely screwing them out of every penny. The only reason money hungry companies such as "From The Earth" get away with screwing over their customers/consumers, is because of the lack of knowledge that the customers/consumers possess.

Please, correct this...

We actually dealt with Harrison our first time. He was friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He answered all questions and was so patient with us. I hope he's working next time we go. Thank you Harrison! Keep on being you!

UPDATE 3/2/2023-by this time, this location has become our go to. I've tried going elsewhere but in the end I change my mind and come to Brookside lol. For this past visit we dealt with Tori (long hair, glasses, pretty), didn't see her name tag. At any rate she was a doll. Very pleasant to work with and answers questions with ease. We've been using online ordering with inside pick up, which has been seamless. The security guard is always friendly and makes one feel safe and welcome.

The different locations do give you a chance to see who has what, product wise. It's not always the same. The less expensive strains tend to run out quickly even if you have already ordered it online. I do think a selection should not be available for order if it sells out. Like many medicinal folks we're on a tight budget.

Overall you can't go wrong at this location. Most of the tenders we've dealt with are chill. Some do need a bit more knowledge about the different strains/types of product and how to use them.

I love the receptionist/tender with the long reddish hair and glasses. So warm and friendly. It would be good to be able to see names better so we can give credit where it is due.

7/29/2023-AIMEE is absolutely our favorite budtender! You can never go wrong consulting her. She is always mindful to suggest the best quality product at the best price. I love, LOVE her and always enjoy working with her!

There are certain people that you come across in life that change it for the better. Michael is one of those people. I had come in in terrible pain from Falling down the stairs. Most of my body was broken, and i needed something to help me sleep and to alleviate the pain. Well, even talking to Michael almost instantly healed my fractured bones. I wonder if he was named after an angel or an angel was named after him. Minutes later while driving down 63rd street, I was pulled over and the cop said “sir do you know how fast you were going” I said “no, but I spoke with Michael and I can do whatever I want” he said “the guy that works at from the earth?” I said yes, he said “go on your way sir, sorry to bother you” so now I wonder what else Michael can do? Can he cure cancer? The answer is yes, yes he can. Can he give sight to the blind? Yes probably can. He not only deserves a raise but he should run for president of the world! He’ll bring peace to the Middle East. He’ll stop world hunger. He’ll probably erase the national debt. So yeah Michael for president, and I’ll probably return, for more illicit gummies. Also if you have any problems at all, ask for Michael. As u might have mentioned he’s pretty good. I guess my feelings can best be expressed through song .
