This place is engaging highly dishonest business practice. The lady there charged me $14 for combination lo mein. I asked if the price had gone up because it seemed quite high. She insisted it had been like that for a long time. Get the menu clearly says that the price is $10.75 (with tax this is about $11.83). Silver charge me more than $2! I need the price is clearly posted as $10.75! What kind of a rip-off is this?
The service here took forever too— like way too long! Mosquitoes all over the place too so you can't like rest comfortably with your engine off and the windows open during your long wait!
This is a really horrible place or at least this turned into one; I'd stay away from it.
After waiting for like 15 minutes of starving she finally agreed to give me my money back. She lied though and claimed that she had told me that the price they got not $2. It was a bald-faced lie! I asked her if the price went up and she said it always been that way.
I'll give her a star for ultimately me a money back but this place...
Read moreLarge portions, average price, decent flavor, open on Sundays.
However, the chicken (orange chicken) didn't taste freshly cooked, chewy, sort of dry, almost like they just reheated an abandoned order. Definitely recommend looking at a different place if you like chicken Chinese dishes. The chicken alone has me second guessing ever going back.
Wasn't a fan of the egg drop soup, not horrible, just not as good as others.
Crab ragoon was fairly solid, so thumbs up there.
Lo Mein (combination) was decently good, still chicken was meh, beef was tasty, and shrimp was ok. Noodles are good, but lacking in flavor overall. Tasting the beef makes me recommend that anyone should choose a beef dish if you go here.
I'm not sure if I just went on a bad day at a bad time (Sunday at around 3pm ish), but I respectfully recommend going somewhere else honestly. May give it another shot since it has good reviews, but definitely near the bottom of my Chinese food...
Read moreGot general's chicken with lo mein, subpar at best. Several things that make this a one star restaurant: First, chicken and lo mein tasted old. Second, She wanted cash but I gave her my card and she had it for under 3 seconds and said it didn't work (had to dig for cash). Last, She was making prices up in her head as I asked how much things cost, very sketchy. I frequent the 12th and Benton location but they are closed for remodeling at the moment, so I tried this location. Save your money and go...
