The Hub Smoke Shop 2 — Local services in Kansas City

I'd appreciate if the owner contacted me to resolve this. Literally just bought the most expensive can of butane this store carries. Didn't buy cheap and planned to buy other things, but they didn't have what I was looking for in stock. I've probably spent a couple grand at this store over the years. Can't blame the workers because they are probably incentivized for these type of sales tactics but I just bought this can of butane that says, "buy 1 get 1 free" on the manufacturers packaging and went back in to ask for one and they told me it's a holiday promo and they don't have any more. Didn't offer me a cheaper can for free or anything, just said sorry can't help you. She even asked "Sushi" who is referenced in these reviews a lot and he was not willing to help. I'm pretty sure this is a stipulation set by the manufacturer meaning they were sent in even number bottle orders. I understand one may have been misplaced but that should fall on the store to honor. Not the customer. Not sure if its even technically "legal" to sell them for full price if this deal is advertised on the packing. Extremely disappointing as these are the closest smoke shops near me all owned by the same guy and this makes me want to drive 45 minutes out of my way to go somewhere else. I Will try to keep this as short as I can but... I have to let everyone know that The hub smoke shops ROCK!! I have been to almost every vape shop in KC and in other states and the Hub 2 is by far the BEST and favorite shop and I will not go to any other smoke shop in town! The atmosphere is amazing, upbeat, the employees make you feel like family and it’s just a fun place to be!! I love all there products and they always have what I need! I must admit there is ONE SPECIAL person there that I am VERY partial too and really owe all the positive reviews due to this specific employee or as I call him, my sweet lil brother because that’s the relationship we have built over the years. The sweetie pie is my main man TYLER!! I can be having the worse day and as soon as I walk in and see his happy, bubbly and cute little smile which he always has on his face, My day is brightened with every visit. Which is quite often!! He’s a great attribute to the Hub 2 and strives to work hard and make everyone who walks through the door feel like home and has outstanding customer service and I see every customer that comes in and they all know and love Tyler!!! Rang me out for a $30 dollar battery.

Then wouldn't do a refund after admitting "it's one of my cheapest but not my cheapest one"

This shop is bunk. They could have been honest, and given me exactly what I asked for.

Would not recommend you do business here if you're going to rely on their "expertise" because that's EXACTLY when they will strike.

Of course after the blatant upsale in spite of what I asked for, in spite of not have clearly listed prices, the best offer is exchange for the actual cheapest battery and spend the difference in store.

That's wrong. That's what's shady businesses do.

It's unfortunate that I now have to buy Puffco products directly from the website as there is NO WAY I'm ever trusting this place to spend that kind of money.
