Oh man, Bad experience. It was my first visit & I’m seated right away for my appointment And was less that 10 min late for. The young woman gave me the colors to choose from and I quickly selected the two colors for the pink ombre and she gave me a small bowl of acetone to put in both all of my nails in, which was very uncomfortable for 15 minutes. She found One of the colors I chose they are out of so I chose another. I asked the young woman if I could still get the 15% off first time customer discount since I did book the appointment. She said yes and then left to I guess her other client, which I did not know she had. I forgot to tell the other employees to add the 15% off but honestly I shouldn’t had to . From what appeared to be a male manager pulls the powder from the shelves and said that there’s not enough of the glitter pink. had to pick another two sets of ombre matching pink. An older woman who did not have a work shirt on who I’m assuming was also part of management, she said her name was Jasmine, decided to help me. They said I needed to pick another side of colors because their again wasn’t enough. So I went with purple. I let her know that one of my fingers was kind of burning from the acetone which I knew was because my skin is sensitive and said that it would be nice to soak it. What really made me upset was that she repeatedly said that my finger nail grows crooked when I asked her to fix a nail that was crooked. I felt like I was in the Anjelah Johnson skit. I said Then I want all of my nails rounded that way it will be filed more. Granted I didn’t care how my nails were filed and I wanted them short to begin with. I just couldn’t believe that she was arguing with me about my nail being crooked and then proceeded to roll her eyes when I said I wanted all of them rounded instead of squared to help solve the problem. It only took her two minutes to re-file the nails. It was just rude and unnecessary. At the end she got a warm towel to wipe my fingers but didn’t let my fingers soak. My hands were very flaky and dirty from normal powder manicure and needed to wash them. Luckily one side of the salon did not have anyone working so I could walk down to the back where at the sink was to wash my own hands. I use a walker and have lower leg splints. It was just inconsiderate that she didn’t bring soapy water to help me clean my hands and didn’t use any lotion. It was obvious to my mom and I that she was b**in to the manager in their language about not getting a tip while he was ringing me up right in front of me. Arguing is pushing it but eyeroll is a for sure no tip!
The place needs to be cleaned, Ppl need to be more respectful/considerate and they need to re stock common...

UPDATE!!!!!!! April 10, 2022
I returned today with my daughter. I always get the New York Signature Pedi with Powder nails. My daughter always wants a fun polish on her nails and feet. Today was horrible. The guy working on my feet scratched the skin off my pinky toe with the foot scraper. He didn’t allow the paraffin wax to cool before inserting my foot, terrible burning sensation. I made a sound from pain. The lady doing my nails said oh she’s a baby, she’s a baby. I replied. No, I’m an adult and that wax is hot!!! The salon was busy so they were doing rush jobs and being completely careless. The woman polishing my daughter’s toes accidentally knocked my Iphone on the floor. All she said was sorry. She didn’t care to pick it up or ask someone to help. I’m so glad my screen did not shatter. I thought the lady doing my nails did a good job until I look down and saw blood. She acted as if she didn’t see it. I said ma’m that blood on my finger. She just wiped it off and walked away. Like that was supposed to stop the bleeding. Then I realized they forgot to give me the heated shoulder pad that comes with the New York Signature Pedi. I had to ask for it but my service was almost done. Imagine if you don’t know what is provided with the service you pay for. I’ve been going to this place for almost 2 years. I’ve enjoyed it. I mean no business is perfect. I don’t complain about much. But today was absolutely horrible. I tip $20 or more regularly but today I only tipped $10 and I did not want to give that much. Then the same lady who serviced my nails cashed me out. She had the nerve to ask for a review. They give lousy service then expect you to pay full price and tip. I walked out feeling terrible. 😞 I’ll try to post a picture of my pinky toe and you’ll also see the horrible paint...

I really wanted to like this place. The first time I went I was pressured into getting shellac. I agreed because I had a nail that was broken pretty far down my nail bed that I needed fixed. I had to go back two more times until the nail grew back and each time the pressure was on for shellac. Lamson did my nails and my pedicure the first time and I request him whenever I go but he refuses me if I'm not getting shellac on both my nails and my toes. The last time I went, all my nails had broken due to the constant use of the shellac and the filing off method they use to remove it so I firmly opted out shellac and the climate changed. I wasn't treated so nicely anymore. I got a regular pedi and color change and was charged $55. It took forever for my nails to dry and the polish just looked clumpy and matte. They assured me it was fine and pushed me out the door. Well, that was yesterday and I'm back today and being treated even worse. When I went to the counter and showed my nails Lamson scoffed at me and told me to sit down. I went to go to the bathroom and he yelled at me to sit down. When I returned from the bathroom, I asked one of the ladies where the regular colors are and she muttered and walked past me. I walked up to her and she yelled at me to sit down. I told her I would not sit down until I have chosen a color which only makes sense and she agreed and pointed to the regular nail polish. I chose a color, finally sat down and have been waiting 30 minutes. First pic is nails after ONE day! Liam (same guy who did my nails yesterday) asked his client if he could tend to me and finally took care of me. He was polite and apologetic. Really nice guy. Satisfied with the ultimate outcome pic #2 but I WIPP...
