Kilauea Falls — Local services in Kauai

Amazing waterfall. I loved going there before CHARLES SOMERS, a greedy, spiteful man, bought up the land. Long story short he built a house and blocked access to the falls. It's not impossible to get there but he has some d*b** who patrols the area on an ATV and you could get in trouble for trespassing.

Shame on the government of Hawaii for allowing someone to own a waterfall/recreational area and keep it for himself.

The falls are stunning, especially after heavy rain, and a fantastic place to swim. Maybe one day common sense will prevail and the falls will be...

Loved these falls when they were open to the public. Such a shame that one person has bought the land and decided they are his and his only. No access for anyone but one greedy jerk who has to have it...

Wrong, you just have to access it from the river, a short 1/2 mile paddle board, kayak, even surfboard, or you can just hike no worries. It's better it not a parking...
