I really enjoyed my stop by the record store today. My buddy bought some speakers and I bought some albums, after testing them out in the sound room, and he got a great deal on them. They do sell vintage equipment as well. The customer service was awesome. Rodney, the owner, was extremely helpful and very customer service oriented. He was also very knowledgeable on the products, the Hi-Fi gear and albums, that they sold. He was a really nice guy and I will definitely be going back and shopping again. One other thing that I like is that the record store had the feeling of record stores back in the '70s and '80s. And if you're buying albums, and I believe it's used albums but I didn't ask if it applied to new albums, they will give you a card and punch holes in it related to your purchases. And once you get your card punched out from making purchases you get a certain amount of money off of your purchase whenever you're ready to use the card. I need to look at it again to see exactly how it all works but it's kind of like buying enough records to where you get a free one. That's not exactly how it works but it's based along that kind of line / idea. It's a great location and they had some really great picks and stock. It looked like there was a lot of other music memorabilia too like band t-shirts. I'm legally blind so there's a lot I didn't see. But it came across as a really great place to shop and the prices were...
Read moreI recently purchased a pair of Wharfedale Lintons from County Line Records, and I couldn’t be happier with both the speakers and the experience. Rodney’s customer service was absolutely top-notch—he’s extremely knowledgeable about audio, but never in a way that feels arrogant or overwhelming. Instead, he comes across as someone who is genuinely passionate about great sound and helping people find what works best for them.
What really stood out to me was the atmosphere—there was zero pressure to buy anything. Rodney took the time to answer my questions, let me listen to different setups, and made sure I was confident in my purchase. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it makes all the difference.
The Lintons sound incredible in my setup, and I’ll definitely be coming back to County Line Records for any future HiFi needs. If you’re in the market for audio gear and want a place that values knowledge, passion, and customer satisfaction, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
Now, the Lintons are sitting in my setup, paired with my Yamaha CR-800 receiver, a FiiO K11 R2R DAC, and my WiiM Amp Ultra. The sound is phenomenal—warm, detailed, and incredibly immersive. The Lintons have exceeded my expectations, and I know I made the right choice with...
Read moreThis shop has quickly become my happy place. Every time I get paid, this is the first stop I make. They always surprise me with something new—alongside a fantastic selection of older albums, soundtracks, and gear. My collection has grown across jazz, alternative, punk, indie, pop, and classic rock, and I’ve already spent close to $1,000 here without a single regret.
What sets this place apart is the care and community. The owners are always happy to talk music and go above and beyond. If they don’t have what I’m looking for, they order it in and text me when it’s ready. They’ve even held albums for me until payday. They’ve hosted live performances and are looking to do more, and I’d love to see even more people come out and support them.
This is more than a record store—it’s a gathering spot, a passion project, and a cornerstone for music lovers in the area. It’s about experiencing the magic of music and the joy of owning physical copies in a world where digital access can vanish overnight. If you love vinyl, CDs, other physical media or just want to reconnect with music in its most authentic form, you need...
