Stepping Stones Foundation Thrift Boutique — Local services in Keller

Horrible experience today on 07/19/2018 at Stepping Stones Foundation Resale Boutique. The lady working at the Boutique today not sure whether she is the owner or not...was extremely rude to me. I asked her about some chairs for sale and she replied with "HA - HA the lady that just left purchased them all.. HA HA too bad so sad" and just walked away from me. I am appalled by the way I was just treated..this woman was just helping a caucasian lady very kindly yet her demeanor and approach changed as soon as she spoke with me. I welcome a call from the manager or owner if she wants to explain if I misinterpreted...

People are nice, but pricing is outrageous. Used target shorts for $20, these used cole haan for $150 (which are found on mercari for $30). Lululemon skirt for $75, when it has a minor strain and it's selling on their website for $59. It was 50% off, but even in comparison to other "boutique" thrift, this was too much.

The money is for a good cause, but you're better off buying somewhere else and donating the money you saved from not buying here.

I can’t say enough about Stepping Stones, it’s mission, and the wonderful people that work there. They’re always so friendly and inviting with the customers and the families that come in to get clothes and their volunteers. I love Karen and the young girl who works there. (I’m sorry I forget her name). Everyone is super friendly, and while the place is on the small side, it’s packed with great finds and bargains! Stop in and take a look, you might just find your next treasure while also helping...
