UPDATE: I was in the area and needed to kill some time so I dropped back in 4 hears later from my original review. I had hoped maybe they made some improvements. It is actually worse. Prices are even higher and items even worse quality. They aren't even weeding out items, it seems anymore. I wanted to warn the other shoppers to just go to their regular GW. I just left.
I have always heard that this place is amazing. To me it is nothing more than a very small GW with absurd prices. Nothing about the clothing and items are any different than what you'd find in your local GW. The one thing that I could possibly point out that is different, is a horrendous increase in pricing, and less of a hunt for clothing because they do weed out those clothes that no one wants (holey shirts, stained pants, etc). The brands are just the same as what you find in any other thrift store except everything is around $10-$15. I did see some things for about $5 but they were not even worth $2 in my opinion. The customer service was great, and the people were very nice. I just don't think this should be considered a boutique. This is probably great for a lot of people who never actually shop at thrift stores but for someone who does, it is a disappointment. I was hoping for higher priced items with the expectation that they'd be higher quality and better brands than those I find in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, even when Iāve had a bad experience, because usually, I give a business another chance to make things right or make a good second impression. But, Iāve had too many unpleasant experiences at this Goodwill Boutique location and felt it necessary to leave a review. Resellers, avoid this location. Unless you can act like youāre buying clothing for yourself, and aren't expecting to use your sales tax exemption, donāt source at this location. I find it a shame that even when I'm buying a mix of half-off and full-price items, I still feel like I'm not welcome there. Maybe it's just me, or perhaps they treat all of their customers as if they are imposing. I won't be giving this location any more opportunities to wow me with their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely overpriced cash grab that takes advantage of people's charity. Things that were donated for free shouldn't be as expensive as they are at both regular Goodwill and at the boutique locations. Goodwill spends millions on "travel expenses" and executive compensation all while underpaying their employees, especially their disabled employees. Some receiving less than a dollar per hour in some states. I can't even express how disgusting the Goodwill boutique as an idea is. Taking donated goods, deciding they're too nice for normal Goodwill shoppers and then taking them away and selling them at a higher price in an upper middle class neighborhood area is absolutely sickening. The ladies working here are nice enough but very...
