What an odd place...... First of all, we got there and the host assured us the high chair was compatible for a booth and we'll, it wasn't. Second, once we ordered they were out of the "Chicken Relleno" but it was only 6:30pm... know one could prep some more chorizo/cheese filled chicken for service?? Third, My wife order the Spicy salsa verde enchiladas and when it came out it was just sour cream enchiladas with a .5oz drizzle of green salsa lol what a misleading menu name. We asked to get more of the green salsa and that took a solid 10 more min. ( food getting colder). Fourth, I ordered a plate with Enchiladas. I choose the brisket enchiladas and with out my knowledge they came on flour tortillas and hardly no cheese! I wouldnt think to question wether it would be corn or flour on enchiladas. It was basically 2 brisket soft tacos with sauce on top!! So so sad! What a Soggy salty mess!!! Fifth, we asked to talk to a manager. He came over to the table and we explained to him the situation with the Verde Enchiladas and my brisket enchiladas. He seemed like he was okay to just listen and that's it... no solution. Nothing to rectify his servers lack of training that lead to our poor meal experience. I was expecting him to offer a discount or to even have something remade... NOTHING! Just listened and was ready to get back to standing around. Really poor management skills on his behalf and that even shows on the training the servers have. So sad........ I expected better. I've been an Executive Chef for years now and know what's possible and how to deal with customer matters. Do the right thing next time Mexicam Inn....

First and last visit. Place was empty after lunch rush and had to find someone to seat me. My server was just as lethargic. They serve some chips that look like Fritos, but they have zero flavor. Drink had 1/4 ice, and I had to ask for refills. Actually, I had to get up and find someone to get a refill. The food was awful. The taco was stuck to the plate because it was under the heat lamp for so long... there is no business (you should be waiting to pick up your order). My server Adyson acted as if she would rather be dead than there waiting on me. The enchilada was covered with something I thought was mole, but soon realized it was chili powder paste. That is the only way to describe it. I am sure that everyone who eats it gets sick, because I know I did. Chili sauce should have a tomato base. When I asked my server for a discount because of it, she acted like I was a Martian. When I went to the bar to sign my tab, I noticed in the sunlight how dirty the margarita glasses are. They have spots and detergent and lipstick on them. Not a one was clean. Instead of playing on their phones in a booth, the two servers could do some deep cleaning. They found time to put up decorations... Overall, not impressed. How can you screw up Mexican food in Texas? I cannot remember the last time this happened to me. They can do much better.

The place has a fun & open atmosphere with very friendly people from the greeters to the servers to the managers. They always start you out with WARM & FRESH Corn Chips w/ their signature salsa...not the typical tortilla chips you get everywhere else! The food can only be described as Tex Mex at its best. My Brisket Burrito was GINORMOUS and perfectly prepared. The brisket was tender and savory and burrito was also stuffed with beans, guacamole, queso, pico de gallo. They could turn up the heat a little this one...not very spicy at all, but overall great flavor. Great decor and very clean throughout the restaurant top to bottom; but you should be ready because it can get a little loud at times with all the open space.

This restaurant was extremely disappointing! :( We visit the 8th Ave and Lancaster locations often. But our experience at the one on Main St., in Keller, was horrible! It was clear that poor management trickled down to the lazy, inefficient staff. Our waitress, Shelby, did an amazing job, but as she hustled around taking care of customers, the majority of the staff stood in the small "chips and salsa room" talking and laughing loudly enough to disrupt our conversation at our table. Shelby had to step into that room and ask who was supposed to be hostessing while customers stood at the front waiting to be seated at one of the many open tables. There was clearly work to be done, instead of socializing, because the floor by our table was littered with food and debris and a table near us had dirty dishes on it throughout our meal. Tortillas and chips were cold and hard. They burned our sopapillas so badly the place filled up with smoke from burned grease and made our eyes and noses burn. Then they tried to serve the burned food to us. When we asked for the manager we were told that he was in back. We never saw him, until he came out and berated an employee in front of us so badly that it made us very uncomfortable. The manager's name was Fernando and he was loud and belligerent to his employee in a very unprofessional way. The behavior of the manager was so distasteful that my husband was on the verge of stepping in to stop him. I asked my husband to remain seated so as not to make other paying customers even more uncomfortable. This location is an embarrassment to the reputation of the Mexican Inn restaurants and probably won't improve unless they dismiss this manager and hire someone capable of leading a staff in a more professional manner. Save your time and money and make the drive to Fort Worth if you are craving those...

If I could give zero stars I would. We should have known better with how we were greeted…or not greeted should I say. We stood at the front for 5 minutes before anyone came to us…though they looked at us, including what I’m assuming was the manager. Who apparently couldn’t see because of eye surgery. Once we were greeted we were told we needed to wait to make sure a server could take a table. Mind you this is on a Monday night…not busy. The maybe manager proceeds to tell us that sections are closed and there’s only a limited amount of tables and she needs to make sure a server is ready. The whole front of this place is open and there are several tables in the back. As someone who has been in the service industry for several years, I understand closed sections. However, when servers are standing around and there’s all of 15 people in the entire restaurant…a server should be able to handle a party of 4 plus an infant(5mo). We proceeded to say if we are too much of a trouble to be seated we will go somewhere else-insert eye surgery explanation here LOL. When seated we were asked if we needed a high chair and we said no. To which the server asked “are you sure” yes sir. We are sure OUR baby doesn’t need a high chair. Onto the food. Lemme tell you. You’re better off going to Taco Bell. The chips are stale, the salsa is marina sauce that comes out of a white paint bucket, the amount of chicken in a $14 enchilada is laughable, the rice and beans probably came out of a bag and a salad caused heart burn in someone who NEVER gets heart burn. Absolutely do not expect unused dirty dishes to be bussed & FULLY expect the most garbage food you’ll ever consume paired nicely with the worst customer service. My advice, avoid this place...
