Decent place, glad something like this is close to my house...sort of. Went with my two young kids on Father's Day. I'll start with what I did not like: This place is not the size or caliber of a Main Event or Dave & Busters....but I spent wayyyy more money there because every video game there is expensive and it is either over in 30 seconds or you just have to keep swiping your card at $1.50-$3 every 30-60 seconds. With the bigger aforementioned competitors, kids waste a lot of time running around exploring (and thankfully not swiping their card every minute) because those establishments are so large and have different game rooms spawning all over the building. But this place is not that big and no time is wasted exploring where the swipe card is cooling off. I also feel like the big names let you play longer per swipe. Very expensive 2 hours. What I did like (mostly): The mini golf sharing the black-light theme of the video game area. That is a differentiating feature for sure. But....there is no waiting space between holes. We found ourselves standing on the previous hole while waiting to play the next hole, which held that group up behind us. And get rid of the clipboards for mini golf score-keeping because there is nowhere to put them when you are taking your turn putting. That was very annoying. The bowling attraction is a different concept...gave my game card a chance to cool down.
I hope some adjustments are made to this place because it is something local in Keller....but it is waaaaay overpriced for what you get. It makes it something that I will only go to once MAYBE twice a year at most, even though it is only 5 minutes away. It is too much of a money grab for the casual family experience it is intended to be. I spent more here than Main Event in less time and less great of an experience. Drop the price of the video games and I'd give it another star, and another chance. Otherwise, we won't be back - we'll go to Main Event or Pinstacks instead and get more bang...

We took our 5-year-old to Monster Mini Golf for our weekly family outing, and the experience delivered exactly what we were hoping for: something fun, easy, and well-contained. We only did the mini-golf course, which runs through a themed blacklight environment filled with pop-culture, horror, and monster artwork. The props are fun. Some of them move or make sounds, and while the course footprint is small, theyâve made good use of the space with creative obstacles and a few familiar classics like the laughing clown. No windmill, sadly, but there was a loud animatronic skull that nearly pushed the fear-limit for our little one. That said, the vibe stayed kid-friendly and playful the whole way through.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and maybe even a little overstaffed, but weâd rather that than the opposite. They clearly try to pace groups loosely, staggering entry so each group can enjoy the course without crowding. The âclub below the kneeâ rule is posted everywhere but not enforced too tightly, which helped with our 5-year-old. Occasional group-wide mini-challenges like âputt with your eyes closedâ keep things lively without being disruptive.
The course was shorter than an outdoor venue, but not disappointingly so, itâs to be expected in a small building. Itâs clean, well-lit, and well-maintained. Pricing is reasonable, with some package deals available, and theyâve got a small pre-packaged snack/drink selection if you need a quick break, no kitchen but thatâs not a problem. We didnât play any arcade games this time, but we passed through the floor on the way in, and thereâs mini-bowling and a laser obstacle course weâd like to try next time.
Overall, Monster Mini Golf is a solid pick when youâre...
Read moreWe had such a fantastic time at Monster Mini Golf in Keller! My daughter and her husband were visiting from Hawaii, and we decidedâlast minuteâto change plans and take our family out to celebrate my son's 8th birthday. We had a group of 8, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a fun and memorable evening!
From the moment we walked in, the staff made all the difference. Everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in helping make my sonâs birthday special. They even offered to give a personalized "Shout Out" over their intercom system to recognize his Birthday! We did not book an actual event/party due to the last minute decision, so we bought individual game passes for the evening, yet the staff were still so awesome about celebrating him! The space was clean, creatively designed, and the black light effects throughout the mini golf course were so cool!
Thereâs something for everyoneâmini golf, mini bowling, virtual reality games, arcade games âand we had a blast trying it all. Huge shoutout to Braylee and Burke for being so kind and helpful. And we especially loved our âputt putt instructorâ Cole! He gave us an awesome, theatrical introduction to the game, explained the rules, and brought such fun energy with his great sense of humor.
Hands down, a great experience from start to finish. Weâll...
