I really feel the need to ask Google to give me an extra star just so I can give a 6 star review because 5 stars just don’t seem good enough. First of all, the team running this establishment is the sweetest family. It’s like you can taste the love & passion in every bite. A very close second: this food is sent directly from above. It is cravable before you take your first bite; the tequenos should definitely be sold in groups of 50. They are so light and fluffy but then the cheese .... just buy however many they have You won’t regret it. I also tried one of the Signature Arepas- The Beefy is perfectly named because there was a ton of meat, and it was AMMMMMAZING with the avocado and Gouda cheese. I also got a Pabellon bowl to have for the next day and that was the second best choice I made day (best choice was the tequenos duh). We stopped by Avila Tacos yesterday while visiting The Truck Yard, and WOW; this place is something special! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He walked us through the menu and even gave us a sample of the beef birria... and let me tell you, that sample alone had us sold!

We ordered the loaded fries with beef birria, and hands down, this was one of the BEST things I've eaten since moving to Dallas. My boyfriend totally agreed, we devoured them in under five minutes! They were perfectly seasoned, loaded with flavor, and that spicy salsa verde on top? Absolute perfection!

I am really confused by all the rave.... I ordered the Birria Fries, but the birria had barely any flavor, and the salsa I paid extra for was so bland it felt pointless. There were a lot of fries, but not enough cheese, meat, or toppings. Everything was loaded on top, and after a few bites, you’re just left with plain fries.

The chips and cheese were also a dissapointment. Not any better than the gas station. I don’t mean to be harsh, but I expected a lot more based on all the positive reviews. The food took 15–20 minutes even though there wasn’t much of a line.
