The Local Watering Hole — Restaurant in Keller

DO NOT BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE AT THIS PLACE. THEY CHANGE THEIR NAME EVERY 90 DAYS AND THEN DON'T HONOR THE CARDS even though it's the same owners. The waiter told us that an owner was there and he would ask if the card is good.....well the owner was too busy at the bar doing shots to do anything but say NO, WE'RE NOT HONORING THAT. AND The wifi still has their old name....LOL. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and not only was it less than 2oz of SHREDDED pork, it was served on RYE BREAD ???? (An No, it did not say that on the menu) When I asked about the Rye Bread, the waiter said that next time they would give me different bread. Finally, the menu said $11 and the bill said $12 for the sandwich, both of which are a ripoff for a 2oz shredded pork sandwich on Rye....ridiculous....and they wonder why they keep going out of business. I saw that another review on here said the prices were wrong for them too? Nice. Advice for owners: You should have honored the gift card and made sure that a 1st timer was well taken care of instead of sitting at the bar wondering why your place is failing EVERY TIME. 1st off the waitress had no idea about anything on the menu, even basic questions like what’s the butchers choice (steak cut for the night). 2nd Ordered an appetizer of queso and chips, the chips, queso, and salsa were very salty. I requested a new queso and new chips. The waitress brought me new chips, but said that the queso was made all together in a big batch as well as the chips and salsa. However the “new” chips tasted just fine and were not overly salty. Seems like maybe just bringing a new bowl of queso would have been a very minimal solution, but no, LOL arguing with a customer was a better option for the waitress. 3rd I ordered a BONE-IN pork chop what came out was a chopped up pork chop with no bone and covered in a cold coagulated legit Apple sauce, was the most vile pork chop I have ever had. 4th another individual ordered fish and chips and what was brought was a small order of fries and 3 tiny nuggets of fish, not fillets but nuggets. Staff is very unfriendly. My wife and I sat for 10 min waiting to be greated as the male server in our section passed by us multiple times. Finally a girl from another section came and asked us if we had been helped when we said no she gave us an odd look and said well let me get you menus. 30sec later the male in our section approached our table, did not give us a name or any type of greeting but just asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. I was taken back by this as we both had no idea what they even had and he was very annoyed and proceeded to tell us about some pint night that neither of us could understand because he said it so fast and then he told us about happy hour being from 11 to 7 however it was 7:30 and happy hour was clearly over. The girl returned with menus so we asked for waters to give us a chance to see what they had and he said sure and the proceeds to tell us that when he got back to the table we would need to have our i.d's out if we wanted to order drinks.
