I'll preface by saying that my husband loves this place, however my husband has never had to go into the restaurant. The first visit was great, the young man gave my son and I all the info, prepared our food, and rang us up and it was lovely
The next visit (first week of June 2023) we had the misfortune of being served and rangup by "The Manager" whatever his name might be. His attitude and grooming had me believing he was lying, however he was wearing a different color shirt than the other employees on staff.
This second visit I ordered a lot of food for family staying with us in preparation of our wedding, and while most things were OK or acceptable, my husband's food was missing the meat. Having ordered for many people I trusted the restaurant to have gotten things right and went home without checking each item.
I returned shortly after, and the manager told me I was lying. Told me I would have to pay for a new meal. He insisted that he is THE manager and essentially the end all of everything at Qdoba. Then he whispered to the young man making the replacement order and to the other man doing prep and cleanup, which made me NOT want to give whatever was served to anyone I cared about!
I realize that I am being vague with how vehemently rude this man was and how unprofessional he was right from the beginning, but I was furious. I had every intention of calling corporate etc, however these were the days before the happiest day of my life, and I let it go. However tonight when we discussed where to eat, my husband and son mentioned Qdoba. Read moreWhile the service may have a few flaws, it's a great spot for a fast-casual burrito in town. The restaurant is like other famous burrito chains, with an open floor plan and an assembly line to build your entree. However, they do have an ace in their sleeve that gives them a competitive advantage...FREE GUAC. After years of going to places that charge a couple of bucks just for a scoop of the green good stuff in my food, having someone just give it to you is almost life-changing. The inside is always clean when I go, with plenty of seating if you want to hang out and eat. Having two drink fountains on deck is also nice, especially during rushes.
They would almost be perfect, but their service is almost always messing up on mobile pickup orders. It seems that every pickup order I make is always missing at least one of the toppings or sauces that I asked for (despite it being listed on the label that's attached to the outside of the entree), to the point that I have to pull it out of the bag and physically inspect it every time. There's also been a few times where I've ordered in the store, and had to deal with an apathetic teenager behind the counter who couldn't care less about my meal, but that seems so commonplace at these types of restaurants that it's barely a valid complaint.

We decided to go here tonight for the first time, their register charged our card twice (they were aware their register was doing it to people) My husband paid, it said approved on the card reader took his card and left while I finished up and grabbed the food. That is when I was told it might have charged us twice and to check our bank statement. I had to pull up my banking info, show them it charged twice, waited for the (manager?)Josh to get off the phone, then I’m told they needed the card in order to refund the 2nd charge, I had to call my husband to come back to the restaurant, by the time it was all said and done I had to ask for a full refund. It had been over 20 minutes of them trying to fix the problem, our food was cold. We were never offered to have our food remade so it could have been fresh, we received a very minimal apology from Josh, and I couldn’t even get a receipt showing it had been refunded because I was told the register isn’t printing! Absolutely poor experience and after wasting over 30 minutes here we had to find somewhere else to get dinner. I ran a restaurant as a manager for several years and I NEVER would have let an error from a register make a customer walk out of my restaurant empty handed. The manager clearly needs some training on hospitality and this place needs to get their register situation handled....
