Weis Markets — Local services in Kelly Township

I work 12 hour shifts several days a week. This does not afford me to make it to any of your stores before 6PM which is when your customer service desk closes. I usually go into the Lewisburg or Milton store on my way home from work to get cigarettes for my disabled wife and get some groceries we may need. I can never make it by 6pm but I have never had an issue getting any cigarettes from customer service as I usually ask someone at the self checkouts if they can help me. I do this first before I do any other shopping. On March 23rd I went into the store to do my usual routine and there was no one at the self checkouts but there was someone behind the desk at customer service. I simply asked her if she could get me the items I needed. Rolling her eyes and being very rude told me the customer service desk was closed. I told her I realized this but I just needed the cigarettes and no one else was around to ask for them. She then just repeated the customer service desk is closed. I then asked for a manager and apparently when you close the customer service desk the managers all go home too as I was told that after being told once again the customer service desk was closed. As I walked away another associate was walking up to her and I could hear her saying how upset I was with a giggle. Ironically I went into the Milton store 10 minutes later and got not one but two associates who helped me out and were very polite. Before you ask me to call I also sent this very thing on the March 23rd directly to Weis corporate with no response. I wasn't looking for anything free. Just acknowledgement and we will look into it kind of thing would be more than fine. I have since found somewhere else to shop for the cigarettes and my groceries as well. This is a great whites store. Is kept clean and is well laid out. It is very easy to shop. Easy to find help when needed. My time that I have needed assistance they have been very helpful and easy to work with.

The store as a wide variety of items from both regular grocery items let's include a good selection of organic. The produce is the best selection of produce in the area shy of going to the Farmers Market.

They also have a great Cafe / pizza shop area. The only downside is having to call through the main number and get transferred back to the pizza shop rather than having a direct number. The quality of the pizza Rivals that of most independent stand-alone pizza stores but they have a better price.

We have also loved their online shopping experience. It has been great for my wife to be able to shop online and then pick it up without having to get the kids out of the car. Or for her to shop and I stopped after work without a chance of me messing up the shopping list.

I used to feel this was one of the best stores in the area. Sadly my opinion has changed drastically. Staff very unfriendly and unhelpful. Giving excuses why something cant be ordered, instead of figuring out a result to satisfy the customer. Shelves unstocked...and bare looking. Low staffing...certainly can feel the vibe from employees when you enter the store....IF you can find a staff member. I actually seen a employee tell a customer when they were approached that it wasnt their area they have to ask someone else. Then walk away from them. Slow Deli staff. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to slice lunch meat. Called to order a pizza and told they couldn't take the order because they were too busy. Hot food is soggy and limp. Seemed to have been sitting awhile. I could go on....and it's sad because this was my favorite store. I hope it comes back to what it used to be. If not, I will start to...
