Dollar Tree — Local services in Kenmore

I'm blown away with how I was treated by the shift lead today! She was standing outside the store door smoking while I was making my way inside the store.. as I was simply walking by her... she make a mocking sound.. I turned around to see if she was directing that at me... and she absolutely was! No eye contact was made.. no talking whatsoever was done but for whatever reason she felt the need to single me out.. I turned around and asked her if everything was okay... and from there she went from 0 to 100 on me! I asked who her manager was and she claimed she was the manager lol. I asked her name where she refused to give it to me... I then said I'm more than happy to call corporate regarding her outburst.. she then laughed at me and said good luck getting anyone.. I did call corporate and she's not wrong.. there's no chance of getting anyone on the phone and I'm pretty confident my message won't go anywhere. Now I see why these dollar tree employees feel they can act anyway they want.. smoking outside the front door.. mocking people as they walk by.. yelling at them.. I'm just stunned with what I experienced here! I've never had any problems the 11 years I've been going here...

Dollar tree is a great store to get "some" of the things you may use. I find every-day items like picnic supplies and speciality items like party-ware at Dollar Tree regularly.

I've gotten accustomed to the disheveled look of many of the stores and take it in stride. It's part of what I have come to expect and it does not lessen the value of those items that are worthy of a stop at the store.

Since the Dollar Tree again met my expectations, it gets a solid three stars. I begin all my ratings at three stars and adjust from there based on the experience I had during that specific visit. When I'm disappointed, a star or maybe two will be subtracted. Should I be pleasantly surprised a star or, if I'm absolutely delighted, two, will be added.

Needless to say I award very few five star ratings. They are the terminal rating and that implies no room for improvement...That is almost...

Im never coming to this store ever again! It's around the holidays and the lines are ridiculously large they only have two cashiers at the moment so I had to wait 20 minutes to purchase 7 items! When I finally make it to the cashier my card declines. I step aside to let the cashier continue checking out the next person while I figure out the problem with my bank I get my problem solved and I tell her I can pay for my items now, she tells me that she is really sorry but "your going to have to stand in line again" I can't believe that this is a store rule... I told her to cancel my order and walked out of that nasty dirty unorganized location. I'll stick to the mill creak location they are much more professional and...
