Came here over the weekend to get my child a haircut. Easy to book and place was clean. In the middle of the haircut, I noticed Alicia (our stylist) had the sniffles. One time, she sucked her snot back in that was at least 1 inch droopy. Thats when I thought crap she has a cold what if she gives it to my child and why isn’t she waring a mask. How irresponsible. Because this is the PNW, I didn’t say anything to be polite and we were already in the middle of the haircut.
It’s now 3 days later and yep, my child has a cold. She has the sniffles! My child is suffering. Do you know how difficult it is for working parents to manage work and a sick kiddo. You can’t send them to day care, your nanny won’t come either. You have to call in sick from work last minute.
This is highly irresponsible and Snapdoodle should be ashamed of themselves. How do you let an employee work who is sick? How do you not even make sure they are wearing a mask? Especially when you deal with children? This should be illegal and Snapdoodle should be fined for their negligence. And Alicia, you deal with kids, please don’t ever do this to another child and parent. Act responsibly. You’re an adult.

They pointed to a couple items that were low in stock and I thought, hmmm I need to get these now. It was a busy afternoon in the store and one of the employees said (while my daughters were busy doing something else) “don’t worry, give the gifts to me and I will take them to the back to wrap them, and then I will hide them in the bag while you check out with the rest of your purchases.” Perfect!!! It worked out wonderfully and my daughters had no idea! Thank you thank you thank you to this young man who was very busy, but took extra special care of a customer who wanted to make sure her daughters were surprised on Christmas! I really appreciate it! Read moreLove this local toy store. I used to shop in their Redmond location, but now we live closer to this one. It's an even larger selection! But, the have the same great service and complimentary gift wrapping! Prices are comparable to other brick and mortar stores. My son loves to play at the train table and marble run. Their rewards program is nice too if you're regularly buying birthday and holiday gifts. The only downsides are that it's nearly impossible to leave if you've brought along your kiddo, and I often want to buy more than I had planned.
