I discovered WMJE while looking on line for a new ring, and was quite skeptical at first. For the prices, I assumed the store would be cagey in some way, or the gemstones would be of low quality. When I went there to look, I was pleasantly surprised! I came in today with some jewelry looking to find the value of it. Not even necessarily sell it, just find out the value as it was my late grandmothers. I thought because of the positive reviews I would have a positive experience. I was disappointed to find out that wasn’t the case. I explained to the jeweler that the jewelry belonged to my grandmother and I have not been to a jewelry buy/sell store before. He said all of three actual words to me. Responding in rude half baked ‘mhm’s he dumped my jewelry out and threw it back into the container one by one with no care or respect. Even after I made it clear it was family jewelry. He hardly looked at any of the chains or bracelets and said “nothing. No value” that’s all. Like genuinely no other words exchanged. I verified all but one of the pieces has a makers mark so I don’t understand how there is absolutely no value.
