Nice launch ramp for the no motorized boats allowed in Lake Nimitz. As an occasional catfish night fisherman it is disappointing to see park closes at 1100 PM. But more than enough shoreline to cover paddling a canoe or kayak for a days fishing.

Normally a great place to launch our kayaks... until rude youngsters with no parent decide to cause the kayak to hit the walking pontoon, causing damage to the boat. If you are a boater don't bother launching if there are kids...
