Okay so if you’re going to have a wedding here there’s a few things to consider. You cannot have rice or glitter they told us which is completely fine and understandable. But what they didn’t tell us is you can’t have petals for going down the isle either they made my mom pick them up right after the ceremony. Before we put in the deposit we asked if we could use one of their two kitchens the assured us that’s fine because we wanted to heat up food there for the wedding just to keep it warm. The DAY OF my wedding they said they changed their minds because they were worried about the clean up. I had to order pizza and throw away Over $1000 worth of food. Then go top it all off this lady came out THREE HOURS before wrap up time which was scheduled to be an hour before our booked time was over. So we had to end my wedding FOUR hours early. We stayed and checked every nook and cranny because they seemed very annoyed with us. We didn’t even have any alcohol or a DJ. Only 35 people. Overall decent placed for a venue, especially price wise compared to others but it was extremely hot in the house while we were getting ready, by the time I was ready to walk down the isle me and my bridesmaids had already sweated through our hair and makeup. Definitely bring a fan if you choose this venue. Another complaint I have is they gave us 2 hrs to decorate. We felt very rushed and anxious the entire time. Another issue we had was the house got locked up after we got ready and things were left upstairs that we could not get to. Lastly, I understand I signed a contract that we had the venue until 1130 but pretty much from about 9 or so a lady was there literally stalking the area and kept reminding us we needed to be out by 1130. Worst customer service EVER!! Two employees tell you one thing then another steps in last minute and says no you can’t (after you make all your arrangements and pay your deposits). VERY poor communication...never answers emails but then will call demanding payment and tell you they will only use their preset floor plans regardless of if that’s what you want Or what THEIR employees tell you that they/you CAN do. Very rude in phone conversations. Also, gives you attitude about your use of non-preferred vendors...sorry get better vendors that are more reasonably priced with better products or services. If I could give a negative star... I WOULD in a heartbeat. Go ANYWHERE else for your wedding!!
