We just had this for dinner for the first time and I ordered it from the website that is on their menu and they tried to tell my husband that he ordered from the 3rd website that they've apparently have doesn't work. I got a email confirmation and everything and they still had issues getting the order so my husband called and told them everything. We got our usual lo mein and General Tso's as well as some potstickers. This is our usual go to when we get Chinese. The general tso's was okay and rice was alright as well nothing fantastic but what you expect from the usual Chinese restaurants. However, the lo mein was absolutely inedible. None of us ate it because it was very fishy tasting and we aren't really big fans of seafood my daughter likes it but she didn't even like the flavor on the lo mein and would not eat it. I have never had fishy lo mein because we always order chicken and/or beef lo mein anywhere. Tonight we tried both chicken and beef lo mein to see which was better both were very fishy and not good at all. It just did not taste right at all. The potstickers were very tiny as well. Compared to everywhere else they did not have much filling. We also could not find any coupons available and it was pretty pricey for what you get compared to other restaurants. I thought it would be a great place because of the high rating but I don't see why...
Read moreHappy Family is more like a Sad Family. For $12.95 I received mushy "shrimp" that looked nothing like shrimp, 4 slivers of imitation crab meat, a few pieces of tough chicken and beef, rubbery scallops, and an abundance flavorless veggies that were drowning in a flavorless, watery brown "sauce". It was one of the worst meals I've had. I expected more out of a "house specialty". My husband got the Kung Pao chicken and it was floating in watery "sauce" and wasn't near a spice level of "hot" that he requested. The crab rangoon was bland and lacked filling. Thank goodness for the sweet and sour sauce that salvaged what little there was for flavor. The chicken fried rice was overcooked and the chicken is breaded, unlike other places we are used to. The best part of the order was the egg drop soup. Pretty hard to mess that up... For a $44.00 meal with a $1.75 delivery fee, it was worth about $10.00 in my book. We will NOT be ordering from this place again. It's subpar food for an...
Read moreMy friend ordered from this place on 8/4/23. She ordered dumplings and moo goo gai pan and wonton soup. The dumplings and wonton soup was too doughy and tough. The soup and moo goo gai pan had no flavor whatsoever and very few vegetables in the moo goo gai pan. She called the store to talk to the manager to report the bad quality of the food and the manager was very condescending and laughed when she was explaining things to her and just kept repeating thank you over and over again to my friend instead of offering her a refund or replacement meal. My friend is elderly and depends on restaurants quite often for her meals. If they are going to treat elderly people disrespectful then they need to realize they are going to lose business as it is people like my friend that keeps them in business. She definitely does not reccomend this restaurant to anyone!!! Zero stars...
