We were very impressed with customer service when we first went to look at homes. Felt at ease. They had a house currently coming off production that we could purchase so we wouldn’t have a long wait to get into a home. I wanted to customize a home, but was told if I did that we wouldn’t be getting the house till October, due to how backed up they were. ( at this point I might as well have done my customizations done since we are still not in our house) We didn’t want to wait that long so my husband and I picked and signed for the house that was currently coming off production. We were promised the house to be delivered end of June at the latest.
There were some weather delays and the house was delivered 1st of august. Understandable but still a lot later than expected. A handful of days later someone came out to put the two sides together and a day or so after that, they came out and put siding on. Also there was no communication or call ahead of time to let us know when they were coming out or doing any of it. It is currently the 3rd of September and no one has since touched the house to finish trimming it out or hook up and deliver the AC unit.
I get there are lots of other customers they have to help. I’m sure others are behind as well. We have been patient and have tried not to be difficult customers or pushy. But at this point it’s turned into a complete nightmare. We’ve been out of a house since May 14th. We started the whole process in March. That’s four months of being without and out of a home. I get weather delays and getting backed up. But this is getting ridiculous.
I would love for someone to at least give us a REAL date and time line of when we will finally be able to move into our home. We need someone to give us a straight answer. At this point we unfortunately are regretting our decision to go through them. We went with them because we had heard nothing but great reviews. Our first house payment is due in two weeks. I’m wondering if we will even be...
Read moreUpdate 8/17/25- I have to lower to 1 star after dealing with the service coordination department and Ashley McInis. She ghosted me after I sent an email explaining my frustration that issues with the home aren’t being addressed properly. We have a list of issues that we ended up repairing ourselves because it became obvious that either she doesn’t care or doesn’t listen well. The most recent issue however, was a plumbing leak that damaged 2 walls, floors and insulation. After speaking with her, we waited around all day for a plumber to show up or call but they never did. Since we live 2 hours away and have jobs, we had to leave that night. When the plumber called the next day, they said they were told by Ashley that it wasn’t anything urgent. That’s when I sent her my final email explaining our frustrations and requesting the water damaged be addressed before things start to rot and mold in our brand new home that we put our life savings down as the deposit ($30,000). Zero response. Zero care. This home may be nothing to her but it’s everything to us. I attached photos of the water damage. My hope is that this review will catch the eye of her higher ups who can step in to get things done.
We live in a big city (OKC) with plenty of local dealerships nearby, and honestly, we tried going that route first. But it was such a miserable experience dealing with pushy salespeople and their gimmicks, confusing pricing, and a lack of follow-through. Then we found Geoffrey at Wholesale Manufactured Homes. Even though he was two hours away, Geoffrey was more responsive, more knowledgeable, and way more helpful than anyone we dealt with locally. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make sure we got it. We are so thankful for his honesty, transparency, and for keeping it real! Jessica did our closing paperwork, she was such a pleasure and answered all our last minute questions! We are so satisfied and excited for our new...
Read moreOne of the worst companies in this area. They talked us into buying the lot model to get in it earlier than the eight weeks they said it would take to build a new one. it took eight weeks to get our old one out, the new one in and set up to where we could get the utilities hooked up to get it trimmed out on the inside to move in. All together it took ten weeks. Joey lied to us numerus times. He tried to tell us we had to use their insurance for the first year. They must be getting a kick back because they can not make you use theirs. He told us he would call us back and 99% of the time that was a lie also. Once they get their money they could care less about you. Most of the contractors they use are great except for J and F Mobile homes. He will lie to you as bad as Wholesale. I called Hench's because they are the mother company and tried to talk to a general manager and was told someone would call me back. They lied also. The couple that trimmed it out seemed nice but after coming out twice and telling me they would be back in a week the did not fix the leaking faucet in the second bathroom. I finally called a plumber to fix it. The keys did not fit the locks and when we called Joey he asked if we lived somewhere where we were afraid to leave our doors unlocked. Can you believe he actually ask us this? I could keep going but the last one I tried to post was to long and it would not let me. All i can say is if you want bad customer service after the sale this is your place to buy. Thanks Geoffrey for trying to make this a better experience. We are more satisfied now than we were. The crew that came out this time are better than the last. The few things left I can take care of myself. Thanks again for all...
