Recently moved here from Dallas. It’s a smaller town and about 15 minutes away from Jasper. The racist rumors are so true. They try to do it in a micro aggressive way now though. Came back to exchange a part for the correct part. The employee said you have to have your receipt. I explained that I spoke to the manager and she told me I could exchange as long as it’s not messed up and still in the package, I wasn’t trying to get any money back only an exchange for a part that was $2.59! The employee begin trying to embarrass me yelling you need your receipt back to back. I asked her if she could lower her voice please and when would the manager be back? She boldly said 7:30 as if to say and she is not going to help you either. Well she was right! I brought my receipt the next day and explained to the manager that I understood the policy to complete the exchange. However the employee has been rude twice to me before. I told her that the day before the same employee purposefully tried to get a man to skip me in line, but the man refuse and said NO, she was here first! (Micro aggressive racism). I told her how she spoke negatively about the other employee that helped me. I also told her how she begin yelling loudly at me saying I needed a receipt when trying to get an exchange. I advised her she even looked at other customers to try to get them on her side while yelling you need a receipt, when there was no need for that. The manager only tried taking up for her employee not seeing that the employee was unprofessional, showing racist behaviors, and lacked customer service and people skills. She could only tell me well we have to have the receipt. She was TRYING not to understand that I was telling her about the employees actions, not the policy because I have my receipt! The manager even asked, “So what you want your money back now”… I said, I keep saying i dont want money I want an exchange and to tell you about this employee actions. She was trying to be rude as if to say you just want some money. I was so saddened.
The part that needed to be exchanged was $2.59! Yes rude over $2.59 like who is trying to steal or scam to exchange a part for $2.59. I pray peace over them because it’s not all of them.
