Took my 15 yo daughter here who is recovering from all kinds of mental health issues including lack of self worth and a belief that she is ugly. With great fear, my child showed Tina a picture of an East Asian teen whose hair she wanted to match despite her hair being frizzy and curly. Tina showed us how to manage her hair as per our request, and then was kind and gentle in demonstrating a technique to make her curls beautiful and smooth. My daughter was distressed and wanted the straight hair. Tina re-worked her hair to show that the same cut can be straightened to look like her picture. My daughter had so much distortion & distress going on and after we paid and we were walking out, Tina sensed her hesitation and patiently asked my daughter again. She offered to help her with what she wanted and took her back to the chair and redid some areas to help my girl feel better.

My daughter is absolutely loving her new cut and everyone in the family is hopeful that she will grow into the confidence and polished style this new cut represents on her. She hasn't felt this good about her appearance in nearly 4 years.

I was fearful because if the cut didn't go well, I knew I had to prep for high anxiety this week, possibly some self harm, possibly some missed school due to social anxiety and fear. The stakes for a haircut couldn't be higher. But Tina delivered on my faith in her and then some.

I am so grateful for Tina's skill but more importantly her intuition with my daughter, patience, love...

I was going on a trip, & very eagerly booked an appt with someone who I have gone to previously. I went in for a partial/peekaboo fun color. I told her what I wanted, we went over it before the appt, and confirmed everything before she started. Long short- after she was done and $300 we both literally couldn’t see any of the color. I pointed it out at the salon, my hair just looked as black as it was, when I went in literally for teal, magenta and bright blue. With fun colors, I understand they can be more vibrant as they wash out, but they should also be visible and look freshest the first day. It was an issue with how thin the bleached strands were and placement. Super unhappy, I messaged her the next day saying that I couldn’t see any color at all. She explained I was the one that chose the colors 🤔. I have done these colors before and they ALWAYS show! I went ahead and booked another appt, different salon, different stylist, same instructions and another $300 later achieved the look! 🦚 I wish I had gotten a refund for not being serviced for what I paid for, but alas hair was redone elsewhere at the risk of being fried, and the vacation hair made all...
