I had Cellfina done by Jessica last year. After $2500 I was not happy with the results but somehow in speaking with Enlighten I convinced myself I saw a difference. That is why I went back for a thigh thread procedure this past Saturday with Jessica, $2000. All the research I did stated results were immediate and would progressively get even better. That was not the case. First of all, I had to wait far beyond my appointment time because they could not find “the picture” to know the threads I would need..huh? Finally, the procedure was done. Extremely painful, even after realizing I would need more lidocaine it was only when I moaned in pain was it given. It was terrible. Once finished I knew not enough threads were used, I stated I did not want to go through this again, so she agreed to do more. There were no post instructions given to me, written or otherwise. I asked what I should for pain, ie Tylenol, and she said that would be fine. She did tell me about bruising and the potential for sutures to show (and told me I could just cut them myself). Because of my long wait they offered a free of charge ultrasound which Jessica told me to schedule in two weeks, but London told me one month.. who knows when/if it should be done. That evening once the lidocaine wore off, was awful. Sunday pain again. Monday I emailed London my concerns.. I texted as well. It was the evening before she texted back and asked if I had taken Tylenol, which I had told her Tylenol did not work. I contacted her again on Tuesday, no response. Today Wednesday I continued to contact her, this time also asking for antibiotics since one of the sites looked raw. When I finally heard back, I was told to take Ibuprofen, something that should not be taken! My last communication to London was from work, where I was in the back of the office, bent over in excruciating pain unable to move..as if needles were being deeply stuck in my legs.. I expressed this to London. I never received a reply. I called my pharmacy, no prescription was called in. This is unacceptable. Tonight will be yet another painful night. Tomorrow I will seek professional help. Not only do my legs look worse, which now I realize the Cellfina never really did not work, the lack of follow up is beyond disappointing. Is there even an actual “doctor” that works there? Both of these procedures were big expenses, which I was realistically prepared for, but I was not prepared for this. Tomorrow I will seek real professional medical attention. Enlighten response: We offered to see you today but you said no. We asked to see pictures but you couldn’t send any. We can take care situation until we see what’s happening. We apologize we have doctor there tomorrow . We have tried to call you and text you many times. To this reply I say, funny how I heard from you after my review. I have all my communications and the lack of yours documented. I did not refuse to come in, as you are aware, I do not live there. I did not refuse to send pictures, I was at work and could not at that moment..when I did not hear back from you..my last communication at 2:00pm, I posted the review at 6:00pm. And lastly, a patient reports to you excruciating pain, you are absolutely able to do something about that, you chose not to. And now try to turn it on the patient?...

I went to this place scared as heck. I'd never had surgery before, and my first one was elective: liposuction. Like many of you out there, I gained more weight than I realized during COVID. Between 2019 and 2021, I gained about 70lbs over the two years. I was depressed. I never thought I'd love my body again. My girlfriend suggested I check this place out. The staff is lovely, and they legitimately care about you. They screen you and make sure it's safe to perform the surgery on you before you're approved. I had the surgery. Recovery wasn't bad. You feel bruised and swollen after, but you'll feel completely fine in just a few weeks (max). Being fully honest, liposuction only takes away about 3-8ish pounds. It isn't like on TV where people get lipo and become shredded. Liposuction is a head start. Even though I didn't lose much weight, it was all from my abs and back, so results are noticeable as soon as the swelling goes down. The rest of the work is up to you. Between the surgery, diet, and exercise, I lost about 50 of the 70 pounds in about 6 months. The boost from the surgery reduced my body fat percentage even more, meaning you get abs even earlier than you'd expect. I didn't regret getting the surgery for even a second. If you have the time, do it. The boost to my self esteem is priceless. I love my body, and I love enlighten. thank you for giving me my body back!

I have to say they were very apologetic about what happened. The owner called and emailed me so did the office supervisor to apologize and offered me another appointment. They really showed me that they cared. London was very sweet when I talked to her. If I decide to have a procedure I will rate that but so far it’s 5/5 in customer service and resolving my issue. I’m back to being excited again.

had my appointment today at 4:15pm. I was so excited. I drove all the way from Apopka. On the turnpike I experienced heavy rain, so heavy I wanted to stop the car until the rain cleared but I continued driving and called The Enlightened office to tell them that I was running 10 minutes late according to my GPS. Unfortunately I encountered more rain and traffic on central Florida Parkway, long story short I finally arrived at the parking lot of Enlightened 15 minutes behind but excited that one I made it and second safely. As i’m about to get out of the car, Enlightened called and said I had reschedule. I explained the reason for my delay and how far I had to drive she offered no solution but to reschedule.
